Drivers drive, Gunners gun, Commanders talk a lot?
Multiple types of military vehicles and roles. APC , AFV , IFV etc. etc. However warfare can change fast and what you procure today could become redundant very quickly. In reality you need to look at multiple role vehicles that work together at some tactical level. The notion of MBT's going into battle with some kind of infantry vehicle of a single type would be foolish given the threats on the modern battlefield...

All these APCs look cool.
The US has been making the STRYKER for over 20 years now. This video must be older as it has an upgraded protection package it's been several years since implemented. The STRYKER also has 10 or 11 different armament modules which can actually be changed out. It offers protection up to 14.5mm and certain most offer mine protection. They have a range up to 300 miles and can travel on roads around 52 mph. I knew a guy who drove for KBR in Iraq and he said they for sure were faster than that. As many times they couldn't even keep up with them when in an ambush

The Eitan might give it a run for its money given Israel already designed a 30MM turret with spike missiles for it and active protection, But other then the Eitan I would agree with you the boxer is miles ahead any other in its catagory

Will someone explain to me why does the US have to make so many different types of Armored personal carriers when we can just have a main Armored personal carriers just the main as a MBT or are we just deciding what works best in our favor?

It's just tax dollars flooding the defense contractors. I drove armored vehicles in Afghanistan made by General Dynamics (HUMVEE), International (Maxxpro), and oshkosh (M-ATV). My favorite is the maxxpro. Lots of leg room

recent action in Ukraine shows that these vehicles are great targets for smart missiles carried by Bayractor drones. lots of Russian armoured vehicles have been bombed, dead. a rethink on these vehicles and tanks may be needed.
