Im Colombian and I’m so proud of this national team I’ve never seen them so confident but I’ll be honest this game is the final whoever wins could go on to win it all I’m more scared of Uruguay then of Argentina but I believe I’ll be there at the stadium rooting for them but one thing is that Uruguay are going to come out tired form Brazil and we had a relaxing match against Panama so there Colombia will have the edge whoever wins gg because Uruguay I have to give them credit have been on fire but so have we so Que viva Colombia 🇨🇴 🇨🇴🇨🇴

I'm from uruguay and I feel the same exact way. We are more scared of Colombia then argentina. We are missing some key players so it's going to be very difficult for us.

There’s a weird narrative that people keep pushing that Colombia hasn’t played tough teams but Uruguay has. They’ve both played Panama, better result for Colombia, Uruguay played USMNT(Colombia beat them 5-0), Bolivia (I mean cmon), and they couldn’t score on this Brazil. Colombia played Paraguay, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Panama. They have played the same level of competition.

I think context matters, it's true both faced the same rivals, but the USMNT was playing a friendly against Colombia, while facing elimination in their home soil against Uruguay, Brazil was playing against Colombia a game to decide who was first fully knowing they were already in the QF (even wanted more time in the end because a goal could be near), while against Uruguay they played facing elimination. Different contexts and mindsets, still Colombia seems to be better prepared for what's to come or at least that's what the raw numbers say.

I disagree with Uruguay only being a physical team, I feel like they are being branded as that because their last two opponents have been super physical as well. Let’s not pretend like Brazil didn’t play dirty and rough this game like they normally do (diving included) Uruguay can attack and create. I just feel like their attacking midfielder Nico De La Cruz has not been doing a good job at 10 recently, I think Bielsa needs to give Arrascaeta a go against Colombia.

It's not new that Uruguay is a "break a leg" team when it comes down to win do or die games. It's been known from the beginning of futbol that "garra uruguaya" is nothing but kick (literally) opponents. They might play nice and easy against weaker rivals and offer some glimpse of good fútbol but make no mistake Colombia what you've seen against Brazil will grown exponentially in semis.

They're going to try to kill James. like Brazil did 10 years ago. We should bring in Juanfer to have two 10's and all they do is counter and our back line is fast enough to recover. VAMOS COLOMBIA!

Being too physical with Colombia will bite them in the ass because Colombia is super dangerous on set pieces so I don’t see them being successful if they attempt to just keep Colombia from playing their game. For me, this is the real final. The one who wins this game WILL beat Argentina in the final. Come back to this comment July 14th.

Honestly I see a handicapped Uruguay 🇺🇾 coming in losing 2 star players and leaving everything they had against Brazil which was a rugby match going against a 🇨🇴 Colombia that took off star players after min 60 and having the full team ready to play next match plus gaining back Lerma star mid fielder who missed the Panama match. If for Uruguay this is a Final. 🔥

I was shocked to see that the ref gave a yellow to nandez at first cause to me that was a clear red… I think what nandez was trying to tell the ref that he had no ill intentions vs it wasn’t a foul… Regardless clear red and justified. However de la Cruz was getting fouled like no other. Other players were getting fouled too. Like this game and many others throughout this tournament the referee was horrible. He should have calmed the situation instead of letting it get out of hand. Uruguay and Brazil have a lot of history and it’s a classic match like Argentina vs Uruguay or Argentina vs Brasil is. It was expected for it to be this difficult. One thing I wish you would have mentioned was how the players were claiming they were superior to Uruguays team days before only to be eliminated by them. Colombia vs Uruguay will be a great match without a doubt looking forward to the game

I have confidence in Colombia. If you look back at the last time the 2 teams met, Colombia was superior, would've won had it not been for a Fabra mistake (who is not in the side). They did not have Muñoz, didn't start Rios and James was just starting to cook. They also didn't have the tank that is Jhon Cordoba, who I think is key to get the best out of James, specially compared to Borre. Also ya'll didn't note that Uruguay's starting RB is suspended which is gonna favor Lucho Diaz. TLDR: VAMOS MI SELE CARAJO

we need a speial video on how brazil's downfall started after winning copa america 2019, why its going wrong and how could they possible get back to being the old brazil. or is the brazilian way dead? with the rise in tactics, and robotic systems, and with many of these players playing in european football, is joga bonito simply just extinct? is there any hope for brazil?

Brazil on paper has the best team. Their players are superior to only a few in Argentina and Uruguay. Their issue is the manager. There hasn’t been a coach that is capable of taking a rich pool of talented players and forging them into a formidable team.

Great fútbol debate, guys! I support our Colombian team 100%. We have James, an experienced leader and goal maker , and the king of assistance! The other lines are very cohesive, explosive ,creative, accurate, and productive! I hope the US marketers / VAR/ Referees , who want Messi and his team, win this cup, won't interfere with the fair play and magic of futbol! Go James...Go Colombia!! Salud!

This newer Brazil team from a few years to now, its all faults and faking falls. Its really pathetic. Playing against Brazil has become a nightmare to other teams because of this nasty display of physicality rather that a regular game. Uruguay is physical for sure, but plays and lets play a bit more. And Uruguay has always been this way by the way
