I wanna hear your thoughts on Zanetti in Verona and Grosso in Sassuolo. Also, do you expect Salernitana or Frosinone to be top serie b teams next year? Finally, in the Uruguayian Copa America campaign, Bielsa seem to play Olivera (the Napoli player) as a central defender. Do you think this could be something Conte follows up on? Conte is a different kind of crazy then El Loco but Olivera would have a more defined role in a back three then in a back four. Loved the episode!

Hi Mathias! Thanks for your comment and for watching the episode! Regarding Zanetti in Verona, I have to say it's a tough call. While Zanetti showed promise, his stint with Venezia ended in relegation. Hellas have been on a downward trajectory over the past few seasons, and while Zanetti has potential, it's hard to see him as the savior for a team that's been struggling to maintain its Serie A status. Verona's current squad and financial issues make it a challenging job for any manager. They managed to survive last season mainly thanks to Baroni's defensive organisation. Zanetti plays an offensive game and this can be very dangerous. Grosso to Sassuolo, on the other hand, seems like a more fitting move. Sassuolo have one of the best squads in Serie B, and Grosso's experience in winning the league could be just what they need. As for Salernitana and Frosinone, it's too early to make definitive predictions. Both teams have the potential to be top contenders in Serie B next year, but much will depend on their moves in the transfer market. Frosinone will look like a completely new team as most of their key players had been loaned in. Bielsa's choice to play Mathías Olivera as a central defender is interesting. I've heard he's been playing very well too. Bielsa's unorthodox methods have always been intriguing. Conte could take inspiration from this, but it will ultimately depend on the profiles brought in and Spinazzola's injury record 😅
