    Foods Higher In Purine: Vegetables: asparagus, cauliflower, dried lentils, peans & beans, green peas, mushrooms, spinach. Whole Grains: oats, wheat bran. Meats: anchovies, bacon, organ meats, red meats, sardines, scallops, tuna.

    There is no food ( except water ) which does not contain uric acid. So we cannot completely avoid them. We should avoid foods that are very rich in purines or uric acid. Pappulu, palakura contain uric acid but they do not cause gout problem
