I was sixteen and got this album for Christmas 1974. Still listening and loving. Gary Thain was such an inspiration. The four albums he played on are personal favourites. Was lucky to see them live in Melbourne on the Sweet Freedom tour 1973. Took up the bass and bought all their albums. Happy days. David Byron was a fantastic vocalist. I miss Lee and Ken too! Keep rocking Mick.
This came out when I was in the Army, and I remember not liking it as much as I did the earlier albums. Needless to say, the album got better with every listen, and by the time I got out of the service, it was right up there with the rest of them!! Great stuff!!👍😎
Heep could play about anything and make it sound great.

This is still one of my favorite Heep tunes...just soo Heepy...big ass bass...amazing vocals...and a great message.

I don't like Wonderworld as much as the five first Heep albums that I discovered in the 80's at 18 while others listened to more recent albums (my favourite being The Magician's Birthday, followed by Demons and Wizards and Salisbury) but the title track, this one and The Easy Road are splendid songs... Great vocal harmonies, that is what hooked me. This song isn't very famous but it's another of these hidden gems that most people don't notice while they concentrate on "hit singles"

Oh I don't know. I think this album is right up there with the earlier albums
"EVERY" UH album with Dave is an 11 out of 10 ! ( Strangely bizarre ,..they're still good somehow "without" Dave ?? ) ,..They had Ken in the band ; secret weapon all the way !
