Urgent Care and Aesthetics PA (Week in my Life as a Physician Assistant working 2 specialties)
Hi guys!
It has been a while since I posted on KZread but that is because my life has been extremely hectic lately! I got married/moved to Miami and I got a job in aesthetics! I am studying aesthetics and transitioning into this new specialty as a cosmetic injector. I am still working in the urgent care in the mean time to make some extra cash until I can go officially full time into the aesthetics field. I feel more and more comfortable performing botox and filler as each patient goes by. You can study the PowerPoints, do the courses but the bottom line is-- in order to feel more comfortable and gain confidence in the cosmetic industry you have to actually inject!

Just do PA if not sure. Only do MD if you are sure. Try to shadow some and get a better idea. Because tbh you have to be prepared to take a lot of crap as a new grad PA. It's the same in residency though. It gets better with time. And honestly evaluate what's holding you back. Best.
