Urbex: Abandoned PARTY House
It seemed the people who lived in this now abandoned house liked to drink their beer and party 'til it's 1999, which was the most recent date I could find on a calendar still hanging on the wall. While exploring, I was surprised to see the pool table left behind.

Awe what a sweetheart letting that butterfly go 🦋
you are very kind hearted for freeing the butterfly
I can't believe you went home and got your flashlight 🔦 and came back in the dark to show us the back basement your awsome
Amazing that the pool table wasn't vandalized. The whole building didn't look too bad of shape. The damage was mostly from the weather and neglect. Stay safe out there! I always enjoy your explores. I'm watching on April 19, 2020. I hope that you are well. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!
You are so brave! Every time you open a door, or cabinet I feel like something is going to jump out at me! Lol...
This house is BEAUTIFUL (besides the grunge of course). Just imagine how it would look all restored and glorified. The woodwork is fantastic, and it has a lot of space (although they could of made the kitchen a LOT bigger). It's sad seeing the place rot away. Makes you wonder.. Sometimes I'd love to know the history on some of these houses! If only that information was easier to get. Ahh.. all I can say besides the years of abandonment, grime, and filth, is this house is still and probably was beautiful. I love all your videos. They kind of inspire me in a way to want to explore the history of older houses, and makes me admire the architecture and style of these older houses. Thank you so so much and I can't wait to see all the future explorations that still need to be explored and documented before they disappear from existence. :)
When I was a kid we always partied in old abandoned houses, :-) thank goodness we survived! Lol
Interesting house .. Nice to see that you have some compassion for that Butterfly to take it and put it outside and save it's life, you have a good heart I would have done the same.
I kept saying to you....release the butterfly please! lol You are so brave to go in a basement in dark
That house must have been really nice at some point!!
Your a brave girl entering these buildings, loving your work, but please be careful.
Hello ray here wow beautiful wood work on this house what a shame going to wast solid wood doors too take my friend Raymond from New York ❤️✌️
very cool explore! cant believe i just found your channel
I wish people who are building big, over priced new houses today would take the money and invest in renovating one of these.
Nice to see a house fairly untouched - I’d love to live there
What you thought was a six pack beer Holder was actually a milk holder LOL
No sign of vandalism. Just amazing how much a beautiful house can deteriorate in 15 years. Thanks for this wonderful find, Pam. Also, those people sure were lazy when it comes to throwing out outdated calendars lol.
God knows what made me notice this, but I have that same floppy ceiling fan right here in my dining room, LOL! Great video Pam, thanks again :)
I love your reaction when you open the cabinet doors. I can just hear you thinking grungy. As you always say in your videos. That basement was creepy.
Like I said,I could not go in to these houses by my self, you are VERY BRAVE.
Awww, good for you for releasing the butterfly back outside! I did that before with a dove that got stuck in a house and once, I rescued a bumblebee. :p

Haha! That is very sweet. I'll even rescue house spiders if I come across any in my own house. As much as I fear them, I will just remove them from the house and take them way down the street in a container and set them free, lol.

Hehehe, I don't worry about spiders unless they are ones I know are poisonous. They can handle themselves. :p Doves however are dumb and keep bouncing off windows. :p

+Spook Babes What a nice comment. Thanks so much. :)
I agree, the wood work is gorgeous!
I bet the pool table room used to be a kitchen, the small one, a butler's pantry. The back stairs were for the help--originally. Great house, one of my faves
Wow this is great, one of the best houses I have seen on KZread!
I love that you set the butterfly free. You have a good heart.
You are a great explorer and also a very kind person, i really admire you
Tiki, this house is beautiful. I lived in a house that was built in 1905 it had the same type of radiators with the fancy design in them. These could be bought in different lengths. They were bought according to room size. The larger the room the longer the radiator.
If I were you I should take that pool table LOL!
pretty cool you always manage to find a calender in every house.the ones who abandoned it left it just as a way to say when they left..you should bring a new one in a house not to run down, and tack it up, then when another explorer comes along they will be like OMG they may come home at any time..be sure and advance it a few months ahead lol..
I'm shook by the radiator
An that pool table was incredible it probably a Brunswick 1920s or 30s when it was made
OMG You're back!!!! AHHH! YAY!
I love the trees along the driveway. The woodwork inside is beautiful too.
I always love the staircases.
I had that exact same microwave growing up!! Haven't thought of that thing in years....wow! :)
The front door is wonderful. I have a wood with enamel top kitchen table similar to the one in this house. They are desirable vintage items in Atlanta GA, USA.
I find it amazing and almost sad that most of us want that farmhouse/ranch design with our houses, and yet beautiful buildings like this have been left to rot away.
heh, you like the rush of sneaking through those forsaken and potentially dangerous places without getting caught or leaving a trace, just like me. ^ ^ i love it...
Thank you for freeing the "flutterby". I'm told that's what I used to call them as a toddler. I watched the upstairs part and I still say it needs a woman's touch. Well, anybody's touch at this point, if they're productive. It just reminds me of the frat house vibe, with apparently at least one single dad. Wonder why this place was just left behind.
You are so brave to come back at night ! I enjoy your vids very much and know it must be hard work to get through some of those houses. Be careful !
I was born August 14 1996. That's so cool seeing that calendar
your videos are awesome..one of the best i have seen.. i have already subscribed ..happy hunting..love to see more..i cant stop watching your videos.. which are very clear and easy to watch without getting a headache or virtigo..good job!!!

another great in depth explore--TY
The woodwork in this house is absolutely amazing - sttill beautiful and in good shape. I would love to restore this one!
Very intresting house, I love the pooltable and the old computer.
I'm not sure what to think anymore???? Looking back at you're dentist video I had no idea you would have such a soft spot for a butterfly!! Then again I probably give people the impression I like my pets more than people. Thanks for making all the cool videos, I hope you enjoy making them as much as I like watching them. Best wishes, David

I just started watching your videos a few weeks ago and I love them!! Keep them coming!!
Boy you are brave to come back in the night! Be careful! I love all the beautiful wood work like the doors and trim etc. also the old wall paper is so nice. Thank you for all your videos. I enjoy them a lot.
I'm fascinated by abandoned buildings and like to peek inside. But.... I've never had the nerve to go into a pitch black basement.
Love all those beautiful doors!
"It's like a big chest... home made chest." (*opens*) - I was expecting a corpse or somethin.. hehe
LOL @ "There's 2 frying pans on the floor".
I have noticed a pattern in your videos when it comes to the potential dates that the homes were abandoned, the majority of them seem to have dates of either March, August or November. Hmmm, very curious.

Love your videos
The computer looked like a early Texas instrument circa early 80s
Your vids are really good. You don't make me dizzy by jerking the camera fast or spinning around quickly. You are very knowledgable about houses and items in general. I know I don't know you but I get a bit worried for your safety ( like the time that biker guy came in that large house adjacent to that Church in Orlando!). I wish you carried a bat or stick! Be safe.

That's a banded garden spider...pretty cool. The poop looked like raccoon poop and it looked like raccoon prints on the tub. Love the pool table. Great video!
I love that 36" hugger ceiling fan at 8:48! And I also love the vintage microwave at 7:00 MicrowaveMeShow

Too bad it's "floppy"...
The old computer seems to a TRS 80 Model 3 a true classic!... was the best for games at its time. I'm addicted to your videos and normally I think I could ignore most of the relics that you find, but this computer...the temptation would easily make run away from this house holding the TRS 80!! ;-))
Oh my GOD,i want that pool table!!!
great videos - you have a new subscriber!
Always enjoy your tours of these houses. It's a shame that some have such beautiful ornate detail, and they are allowed to rot away. The doors and some woodwork in this house are so nice, better than any prefab available today. However, I grew up in 100+ year old farmhouses in the North. My experience says most old houses are big and drafty (let's just say freezing except directly in front of the wood stove), and they must not have been pleasant places to spend an Ontario winter.
I'm missing those long, warm, summer days about now.
the pool table seems in good condition and you were so brave to go in the basement
8:40 love that vintage AIO computer from the 80-90s
Omg...I would have paid BIG $$$$ to have seen that. I could imagined a few things you said. You probably just said " Darn". Happy Hunting 😜

Oh, it was much more than "Darn". I don't shy away from bad language, especially when such a situation is called for, lol.. I just bleep myself out for KZread sensibilities.
I appreciate that. Thank you!
Muddy paw prints on the bath tub :-D x
I would have totally opened that pickle jar lol. I'm always interested in opening old nasty expired stuff...
Lots of the older, 1800's, large, and Victorian houses had 2 staircases. Usually the back stairs were for maids or servants.
The wood work is awesome..
Thanks. You're most welcome. :) It's in Southern Ontario, Canada.

What an odd place to find a bottle of cologne! That spider was huge!
looked like people are still using the pool table good job
A little bit of a GROWL in the basement at 18:45 after she says furnace.
wow that house had alot of detail in the stained woodwork and doors most get painted over. Very psychedelic looking tile in the bathroom i'm with you don't like spiders when i explore basement looked creepy thanks for the great video!
Course there's a chair. The place had to be inhabited by Scots Beer and ALL THAT WALLPAPER! Each room w/ a different theme. The bathroom would surely leave one dizzy if in there for any amount of time. Another gripping adventure and Thank you.
Has great potential, wooden doors are beautiful!
At 19:44 that is asbestos wrap on what used to be 3 inch steam lines, probably converted to water as indicated by the bright red circulator pump you saw on the furnace, I had the same set up in my house. love your vids.

Some things you can still use in that house: clean those glass jars in the cup boards and the whole microwave
The blue thing at the beginning when you walked thrugh that red door was FIREWORKS ('o')
reminds me of a house in Fallout with the left over food, pool table, the computer definitly

ashleighobrien27 That is actually a myth. You can't kill butterflies by touching their wings. They have little overlapping scales that can be rubbed off when touched, and many are removed when they emerge from the cocoon. Many even fly without any of these scales at all. They are just less aerodynamic and their flight pattern may be affected. Google it to see for yourself.

The house is beautiful the woodwork is gorgeous it would be so pretty remodeled and that ugly paint sanded off the cabinets
Loved the pool table. A bit of TLC that could easily be brought back into use. Bet it has some value too. Bees and spiders seem to like a bit of publicity on your videos lol

Yes, they sure seem to be a magnet to me, lol.
Thank you!
Thanks for releasing the butterfly. I was thinking it would have been a nice thing to do, just as you picked it up. 1:18 Hassock or short stool. Made from empty fruit juice cans and covered with upholstery. Arts and crafts project from 50's. 1:52 Bottle cap collection, a certain number of caps was worth something from a catalog put out by the maker of the beverage. Similar idea to Green stamps to promote customer loyalty. 3:31 Some of those old decorative cast iron radiators are worth quite a bit for old home restorations. 3:40 Possibly a candle?? 8:08 If that pool table has a slate bed, it's probably pretty heavy and would have been hard to move. Looks to have been a nice one in it's time. Very restorable condition. 16:50 Should have let the spider out like you did the butterfly. LOL!!! !6:57 Looks like it was pickled okra, or what's left of it. The Douglas Fir woodwork and doors were nice. We don't see much of that any more. Also nice that it wasn't painted over. Thanks, this video was really nice and interesting.
I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if it goes astray. But I woke up this morning, could've sworn it was judgment day. The sky was all purple, there were people running everywhere. Trying to run from the destruction, you know I didn't even care. :) Happy New Year TikiTrex. Bees fly to honey.
Calendar from 1998 and 1996 thats scary how long that place has been abandoned.
The pool table may have been one with a solid slate slab under the felt, the house we live in has one in it. The previous owner left it because it couldn't be lifted from the basement. It had originally been brought down before the basement was finished some time in the late seventies.
My goodness, don't know how I missed this before. Thought I was up on all your great exploration videos. Anyway, this was sure a wonderful find. Can't believe that the room where the pool table is and the table is almost as if you could go right in and have a game. Wanna play??? Haha! Thank you again Tiki and since this is Jan 1st. of 2016 you have a very Happy New Year and keep your terrific videos coming.

See what you mean about the butterfly TikiTrex. magic girl after my own heart. As always, love the steady camera and sensible commentary. Beautiful house, and as others have said, what a crying shame that it has been allowed to decay to such and extent. Looked up where Oxford NS is, and see you are around 3000k from France in a straight line. I'm up a bit in the U.K. where, unless one is living in a very very old house, we do not have 'basements', is this the same in Canada, or are all houses, old and new built with basements? Fascinating insight into other's lives and houses. Keep going, you're doing a grand job.
Loved that pool table, you cant imagine how heavy that slate top is! We had one growing up, with leather pockets, it was gorgeous! Learned how to play pretty good! Hated playing my dad, never got a turn, cause he was really good! That spider when you showed it gave me goosebumps , I am so terrified of those suckers! How you were able to even get 5 ft near it, eww, nice olf house though, dont care much for the kitchen though!
wood in the house is beautiful
Tiki. Have you Always been a curious Explorer? I envy you .you have an exciting life. Thanks for the vids. That pool table is quite a find by the way if it was refinished and refelted it'd be perfect for my game room lol
