They’ve been ruining the returns with no plants and all river closures… the chase is better I guess with less fish now lol

Great to hear you telling people which rivers to fish. I am from WV and i fish Erie allot and would love to come to Wisconsin or Michigan to steelhead fish. Thanks . Great video too

Hey I just seen people under the Milwaukee bridge at the harbor (big yellow bridge) and they have nets right under them! No more than a foot from shore. What are they doing??

The crowd goes in the fall the spring is better imo less anglers.

manistee Michigan steelhead numbers have decreased dramatically. was hoping the no egg take on little manistee would give the system a surge of natural reproduction where in the hell did those fish go that should be around now

U can go in Milwaukee harbor rn the browns and steelhead are there but won’t be there for much longer the run is almost over with I would not recommend trying on the shore line by Milwaukee you will not catch anything there. My favorite places to fish off Lake Michigan are Port Washington, Milwaukee harbor, Racine harbor, Kenosha harbor, or anywhere on the Milwaukee river with dams you will be sure to get on em

Yea the pier heads and lake can get good then but the rivers only have a few steelhead in them at that time

Yes St.Croix makes great rods but if you look in the video clearly I’m not using a St.Croix it’s our new Haat Rod.

What is better? Loose eggs tied into a spawn sac or skein tied into a bag? I does it even matter?

I definitely prefer loose eggs. But you can scrape the skeins with and get loose eggs that way with small rabbit fence.
