URBAN LOGGING, HOW TO HARVEST TIMBER WITHOUT BIG EXPENSIVE MACHINERY
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
HAD TO RE UPLOAD VIDEO DUE TO SOUND ISSUE
In this video I show one of the ways you can use the fetching arch to harvest timber. I also used the portable winch to move the logs onto the trailer.

Fantastic job. Wish I could have me some of them arches for a day. I've got 2 different locations I need to get logs out of yards that is so restricted to access that them jewels would serve me well. Wish I could say they was next on the list but they aren't. Thanks for sharing brother. Voted again today

Hay buddy I hope you can accept my oppoligy. I am so sorry buddy. I really am your number one fan. Love the way you responded to my ignorance. Not every one works like I do I got to understand that. I am new to you tube watching. No excuse tho. But I am exposed to so many abusers of the system. Do please for give me and may my god bless you in all that you do. Sincerely #1fan.

take care George and have a good rest of the week, be safe out there,
Have you considered welding a receiver hitch or something on each of your log arches to allow you to temporarily put them together to act as a trailer? This would make loading your trailer really fast and easy.. Might need one at the top and one more on each side. (3). Just a thought.

Since you have both, the ATV log Arch and the Fetching Arch, If you were to only have one, would you spend the extra 600 and buy the fetching arch with the option ATV tongue mount, and have both options with one tool. I know that is a wide open question,. We have a little off grid cabin , 3.5 hours from the house. I have some pine down there on that place, I need to gather up, Not really a chance of getting a tractor in that area, because, a I dont have one, b, the logs are spread out in a area, I can get my 4 wheeler, but not a chance a tractor would fit there. But i could see how this may be a better option for pulling the logs onto the trailer, after I drag them close to the trailer with the 4 wheeler, I am not afraid of work, so I dint think I would mind pulling the tongue off and dragging them with a come along or winch. Thanks in advance, and sorry I am always bugging you with questions and comments. Dale
Would love to see a link to the portable winch and also where to buy the fetching arch. Thanks for sharing with us.

I looked threw your video's and did not see! So I was wondering if there was a video on the little motor hand winch you are using here in this video!

yeah the first up load had an audio issue, couldn't restore the audio for some reason, got tired of waiting on You tube to fix it so I re uploaded and did some adjustments on the audio,
👍
No low range on that bike ?? Man that’s hard on driveline components, clutches belts etc trying to get that load moving.
Hi Naathan: Any reason why you didn't build a log arch on the end of your trailer, as it sure would help in the loading and unloading of the 2000 lb. logs? Best - Michael

Your gas powered winch sure works great. I cannot see you going back to a come along. Unless it was an emergency...like the gas powered one failed. Heaven forbid!

I was just thinking when you use a chain saw you should wear chaps or chain saw pants .I have seen pictures of people who did not wear them and it is not a nice picture .
Lol!
Need to build you a log arch for your trailer like matthew cremona has kzread.info/dash/bejne/opdqlc6RecnFdJs.html not to mention the sawmill he built that thing is massive

ok wait....."without expensive machinery". You have an $8000 ATV, and $2000 and $1800 log arches, and a $1500 porto winch, and $4000 trailer = $17,300. You can get a used skid steer with grapple and trailer for that much! LOL!
