Tfs .. I’m on my 2nd day wearing this foundation and so far I love it . The shade is a perfect match. I did use the Danessa Myricks blurring balm and the new elf power grip setting spray and it stayed all day with lil to no movement without a setting powder.

@@AriellAsh no I have normal to combination skin and I’m in hot Texas so we’ll see how well it perform while I’m out in the heat this weekend

I picked up a sample yesterday and I love it. I skated all night at a Prince Skate event. Got home at midnight and skin looked amazing. Not major shine and even even when I put a tissue on my face, nothing came off! I love it!❤

I use their Stay Naked Hydromaniac Tinted Moisturizer already, so I may try this at some point. I love that the product is vegan, cruelty free, & has a decent shade range.

Yay! Thanks for the review. So... you were right. I think I'm going to get 28 for summer (currently mixing in 26). I'm very oily and I wore it for more than 13 hours yesterday. It performed beautifully considering that I didn't use primer and didn't powder it. Also, it didn't change colors or run down my face while sweating. I'm very impressed! The first day I tried it, I used the Smashbox primer around my nose (it was just the closest thing within reach) and it seemed like it prevented the foundation from setting down as much as it did on the rest of the face. I'm going to keep experimenting with different primers. I'll be using Becca Ever Matte with it today.

I picked up a sample the other week that looked like the right shade but was not when I went to do a look so I need to go back and try another. And I have that Elf putty primer arriving in the mail today for me to try out. It’s going to be 95-97 this weekend so I want to test out both. I prime and set everything with this heat.

Yess I definitely recommend priming and set pretty much every foundation but this one is marketed as “self-setting” so I had to put it to the test 😆 I hope it works out for you Luv!

I’m interested in trying this foundation. I think I would love the finish. Especially in the summer. I have a normal skin type in the summer. Winter tho I’m dry. Thanks for sharing.

@@AriellAsh I went to Sephora to get matched. They don't have a match for me! 😢 It's too bad, but hopefully, they will expand their line. I am currently using an older Urban Decay foundation - Stay Naked Weightless - which is a great match for me in summer but it may be discontinued soon. Or so I've been told.

I got this in shade 23. It was a perfect match. I do my normal skin prep, can’t imagine not wearing my sunscreen, especially on brown skin. I felt it did get a bit oily. I did not set with primer, but I will consider adding the all nighter setting spray before adding foundation and see how it wears. I also wonder if adding other cream products on top I.e. bronzer and blush adds to oily areas. Also, I too am normal to combo skin type. No skin problem areas or texture.

I purchased 28 during the Sephora sale. I also had 29 on my face and I liked 29 when I looked in my car mirror. I went back and got samples of 28 and 29 so I can really determine the perfect match.

@@AriellAsh - I absolutely love 29. I am taking 28 back. I have set it; however, I really do not need to. It lasts for 6 hours. I do use Sephora primer.

Excited to try this one, but I agree a primer at the very least is an absolute must. Wish I got this during the Sephora sale!😂

A lot of people (including myself) don't use primers because they're unnecessary. Plus, it can't be a clean review if she uses a primer that makes or breaks the foundation.

She used a moisturizer and that’s really what you need. Not everyone needs a primer. I use hyaluronic acid after I cleanse and a good moisturizer plus a tinted sunscreen so I don’t need primer.

I love that you tried the foundation without primer. I never thought about doing that, but you certainly can see how a product will hold up if you don’t add anything to the except moisturizer. Thank you for that tip and the products created a beautiful look. 🤎
