Yes. I don’t use this laptop every day. But it’s still working great! I wasn’t aware of the claims and that’s actually scary.

I'm still team android. I got a macbook because of video editing. it handles video and spits it out better than my fully built pc from late 2018. my new ryzen 9 build... it's definitely faster than the macbook. but I already have the macbook and it's expensive as hell, so I can't justify replacing it. I got this m1 pro on black friday 2022.

Not saying you should drop test it, but Macs mainly break due to impacts, water, and screen pressure. How do you think it will actually resist a corner or side impact? Guessing the odds of it landing flat the extra material will help, but the sides looked like it didn't add much. and Apple can kiss my butt with their Apple Care Protection. They won't even honor authenticate products that someone was able to use the warranty info to clone to other products and they refuse to put alerts on the known serial numbers when checked on their servers. Another issue because they have the system to alert bc they also alert when they want to extract more warranty money out of you after over charging you by at least 4 fold upfront.

You said it's easy to put on, but you didn't show putting it on why?

I will give their new Mac laptops a thumbs up until the snapdragons come out, but can't justify the price and the upcharges for basic features or their update downgrade and programmed obsolescences or designed to break or fly off tables. They don't even put grippy feet on the bottom is literally carpet slides to enhance the escape velocity off the table to make sure it breaks since most cases do a different type of damage. But at 3-8 times the price of the same specs without the lies of unified memory being double. I literally have a Mac from 2015 that has less power but more features that I can about than the new 2023. Another example of how Apple will get sued again for ripping off their clients.
