none of em realized the old man with the ninja star head that spoke up too, was the same one deku met in episode 1 of the anime, this is actually some underrated writing

For the people that are upset at the civilians need to understand that their trust in the heroes at this point has to be off word of mouth yet they still aren't telling them everything plus they were defeat twice by the people who they are saying they want to protect them from so when someone who the villians are looking for shows up at their shelter them being scared is the result of the heroes not exactly doing what is necessary not to mention some of them quit being heroes as well so their concerns while people may not like them where justified which is why im glad horikoshi depicts this in this way

Still doesn't change the fact that the civilians acts like ungrateful piece of shits. Sure, lots of heroes did quit their job, but the fact that they treat the heroes that remained dutiful to their responsibility till the end like absolute crap just shows how privileged and spoiled these people are. They're the exact replica of anti-vaxxers in our pandemic, constantly shitting on the good people who are trying their best to solve the world's problem because they're too stupid to realize what is actually good for them.

I'd agree with you wholeheartedly if it weren't for the fact that the common people are not only *completely* directing the blame towards the heroes, but they expect them to act as janitors entirely without putting in any effort on their own. Instead, they go around spreading collateral damage and hate. Ain't it crazy what fear does to people? Lol. People hate on the civilans because they're not being entirely fair. Other than that, yeah, it's completely logical to not want to stand next to a time bomb. The people don't deserve Heroes like Deku IMO
