I ate Panda Express today. I ordered the chow mein with sweet fire chicken. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t something I’d want to have a discussion about. Additionally, it’s not something I’d recommend but also not something I’d tell you not you order. That thin space on bathroom stalls that allow people to see in is not a thin space at the Biden Welcome Center on I-95 N. The space was a good 1.5 to 2 inches. Biggest gap I’ve ever seen on a bathroom stall. Very uncomfortable using those bathroom stalls.

It's funny how solvers have shown the opposite to be true. On static dry boards you want to bet big because your opponent is indifferent to calling. Nobody is folding 99 on a T72r flop for 1/4 or 3/4 sizing. However on wet dynamic boards such as 89Qss you want to bet small to keep your opponents range wider than just nutted draws or traps.

C Bet sizing for me has almost nothing to do with the strength of my hand. Issues that determine c-bet size include: 1- Position: Later position smaller c-bet 2- Effective stack size. If the stacks are shallow enough, I want to c-bet size to set up turn and river shoves. 3- Board texture as described above 4- The nature and number of opponents. Looser players and multiway pots may get bigger c-bets depending on effective stack sizes I have trouble keeping track of the pot sometimes with odd blind sizes, so I estimate my c-bet range as follows: Suppose blinds are 125/250/25, and Pre-flop bet 550 where 3 players see the flop pre-flop bet size x number of players as the high end: 1650 pre-flop bet size x number of players / 2 as the low end: in this example: 825 This range of c-bet is 825-1650 as a starting point. I almost never bet closer to the 1650 unless it can get me all in on the turn or other factors above all dictate a larger bet sizing.

Geffrey Klein Hand strength should play a big role in your c betting sizes. A lot of times the flop won't lineup with your range and you can't be as aggressive. Also when you have a monster you might wanna make it a little smaller to keep your opponent in the pot or bigger when you are vulnerable. To say your hand strength doesn't get taken into account doesn't make any sense to me. Obviously there are times when you are just playing the table when it might not matter as much but most of the time it should be a big factor.

Geffrey Klein If I raise UTG with AA and get 3 callers and the flop comes 7h8hJc I'm gonna be c betting much larger than if it were something like Qc8h4d.

World class players can hand read better when you give them bet sizing tells. I would argue for a bigger c-bet in your example not because I have AA, but because I am OOP and the flop texture is very wet.

I said almost nothing.,.. If your table is a bunch of level 1 thinkers, then it doesn't matter. However, try that against Doug Polk and see how far it gets you.

Geffrey Klein It's called balance dude lol I would do the same thing as a semi bluff. And sometimes I would check the aces instead of leading out.....No way to know what I'm doing. Doesn't matter if I'm playing doug polk or Jamie Gold
