They are actually a great team. They haven't gelled yet. They need like a year together which they won't get. Sc fan by the way. I love morrows game. Williams is a straight killer.for those bangin on vanlith, shes playing out of position. Do not forget shes a killer.she can change the dynamic of a game at a snap of her fingers. You don't believe me watch some louvillle highlights. Dont be surprised if they make the final 4 or the finals. Defence yes. But they have heart. Watch out. Dont get mulkey mad.

LSU is lazy. Gamecocks flew to Louisiana won the game and flew home and were on the court practicing less than 12 hours after the game against lsu and Kim mulkey said in her post game press conference Thursday night they were not even gonna watch film till Saturday 2 days later so I’m assuming they didn’t even practice Friday. Two programs with great talent but work ethic couldn’t be more different

It’s the truth and I’m not a lsu or SC fan. My team is UConn. When Angel fouled out the momentum shifted. Even Dawn said that if Angel wouldn’t have fouled out that the ending would’ve probably been different Angel tonight 20 pts 18 rebounds and 4 assists . She had a pretty solid night

LSU imo at least is not a bonafide Final Four team. I do believe LSU has the talent level of a Final Four team and also the talent level of any team in the country , however defensively LSU is pretty bad and truthfully they’re getting exposed on that end to go along with their lack of rotational depth from their bench. Coach Mulkey is gonna have to potentially make a change in the starting lineup or do something , because with the starting lineup they have now simply isn’t gonna get it done come March the deeper they go into the tournament. This loss today against MSST (not really against South Carolina) & the loss to Auburn was further proof of that.

They don't use their bench. LSU runs a seven person rotation practically every game; the starting 5 is gassed, and they have no point guard on top of that.

When you’re the Champ, you get the best of everyone, every night. Mississippi State does not play with this passion on a Monday night against just anyone. They were clicking. I always thought SC was the favorite to win it all bur LSU has the players, all they have to do is gel at the right time. The time is now. They don’t look bad. They were in the game. That’s all you need in March, an opportunity at the end of the game for a great coach to pull it through. They have work but what better way to get a teams attention. As I Coach, I think you know have their attention. They clearly have to understand they have work to do. Not saying they will repeat but they will be there in the end. They definitely one of the top four teams in the country.

HVL is an excellent player. I think this is a lesson learned in that you can't just go to the transfer portal to "join the better team". Basketball is a game of team chemistry. I do believe there can be too many cooks in the kitchen and it can actually harm the team. I thought HVL was much better suited as a shooting guard with a green light at Louisville. Every game I've seen her play, she just looks out of position. The screen setting and passing is not where it needs to be for her to excel. She's not hitting her shots because I think it's also affecting her mentally. I actually hope LSU gets their act together because I would like to see them extend in postseason play.

Solution to the problem Kim created: 1/3 of season left Sec tournament 3/6/thru 3/9 Then March madness 3/22 3/23 1st rd That’s 7 weeks to March Madness Drop 2 of 5 starters to safe the season roles (bench) Keep 3 of the current starters on the court at all times Offensive schemes option 1 , option 2 ,option 3, if LSU get to 4th option the play already dead Out of Poa,Kent, Velez,Rosario move 2 into starting roles Develop those 4 with everything you got preparing for a march run. Those current 5 starters split 3 and 2 can carry a team. Merge your top 5 near end of game . Let them finish it or next girl up This is how Kim fix the current problem, 9 players rotation will be enough to keep those 5 superstars fresh . If they have fresh legs no one out there can beat them . Three superstars is all they need to keep games close or have the lead at the rate they score .Most teams don’t have 3 offensive juggernauts on court now MK can carry team Flaejae can carry Angel can carry Morrow can carry HVL can carry Somebody forward this to Kim

I know the problem to the LSU GAME! That transfer guard Van L. Can’t penetrate the ball through any of her defenders. Dribble and pass, dribble and pass, same same same!!! She is too slow. Can’t penetrate, just pass up the ball. Can’t defend. Can’t shoot. She looks like a lost soul. They can’t with her!!

I keep hearing everyone say that LSU has no bench, but I find this to be speculative because KIM MULKEY DOESN'T USE HER BENCH! She uses like two players off the bench for garbage minutes on average, and runs her starters into the ground. This is the Mulkey approach. The starters are exhausted. And I know that everyone is going in on HVL, saying she's the reason for LSU underperforming and that she's overrated, but Van Lith isn't keeping herself in the point guard spot, despite she can't really play that position... she doesn't have that kind of say... but we all know who does. Also, why is everyone surprised that HVL is a defensive liability? People acting like she was a lockdown defender at Louisville, and suddenly lost that ability at LSU. Mulkey knew what she was getting when HVL transfered there; no sense in acting surprised. Its easy to point fingers at the players, but everyone knows who is running the show at LSU

Angelica Velez ( Division II-A Miss Tennessee Basketball) need to run the point. Give her the opportunity

Chemistry and effort is Lsu issue. They have time to get it together but its exposing them right now.

LSU has very talented and skilled players, there is no doubt about that. But Mississippi State is a team, LSU is 7 individuals. And until they fix that the Auburns and Mississippi States will continue to find ways to beat them. Vanderbilt will be their next loss.

Offensively, LSU tried running too many plays and not enough simple ball play…just get the ball in the bucket. All that dribbling and passing the ball around, forced turnovers. The name of the game is get the ball in the hole. Work on your shots, ladies and shoot with confidence. Nail your shots, period.

Excuse for Kim Mulkey not being able to coach. 18 games and 15 years are two streaks of LSU losing to Carolina, home win streak is gone and so is Angel Reese’s double double streak.
