The Spirit of God isn't a spirit of victimhood. Although Jesus was victimized, He laid down His life for our salvation. They couldn't touch Him without His consent. We are children of God and we have the Spirit of God living in us. When we are rejected, it is because we show our strength in the Lord and others are jealous of that.

@@bv459 This is deep revelation that I'm still trying to comprehend. My soul is wounded from being hated & unloved in the world. I've been hated by every living thing breathing in the world including angels from heaven that are here on earth. Where is Christ Jesus at when I cry out to him for healing & restoration in my life. I'm 31 & suffered horendlessly in my life.

@@__babyface Christ is closer toyou when you suffer than He is at any other time. He is trying to tell you something, namely that you shlould not seek human respect. Only try to please Christ and care nothing for those who persecute you. Read Kings and study Elijah. Look at how God loved him and supported him when no one else would. He said to God, "I alone am left." He too was depressed and even wanted to die. But God sent a raven to feed him when he was down to nothing, and He told him to rest. What He meant was "Rest in Me and you will have all you need." You have many more years ahead of you. Learn now, so that God can use you for His purposes. Do not rely on human respect. It should not matter to you who likes you on this earth, only feel confident that God is pleased with your actions. Follow the commandments and be free!

What is the opposite of rejection? Acceptance. You are accepted in the Beloved, that is Christ Jesus. He accepted you because He loves you. He accepted your sin on His body and was fully punished for your sin. He accepted your condemnation. He accepted rejection on your behalf. He accepted your grave and your place. Now will you accept His righteousness? His forgiveness and salvation? He will accept anyone who comes to Him. Come to Him and know and believe He is your Redeemer and Savior. That all your sins were fully payed for and punished, and His blood was shed for the atonement of ALL our sins. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He is LORD. He is the Son of the Living God and God the Living Son in the flesh. Accept Him, and know you are accepted in HIM. It's when we come short of His grace is where all this bitterness creeps up. And the only way to get His grace is to accept it because it is a free gift to all who believe.

I listened to both of your sermons on this Root of Rejection and can confidently say in Jesus Name I have uprooted the spirit of rejection in my life and replaced it with the Spirit

Pastor as you were speaking I was being healed from the inside. Your words of gods truth - especially the one where my identity was first and foremost with and of god before I existed in the world- was like soothing ointment being applied to my soul. I finally believe that I am who god says I am not what people say. Amen. Praise god and thank you pastor

Just turniñg 60 I realize that my rejection issues run so deep it has made me become totally self contained. I shut out most people for fear once they get to know me they'll reject me.I came here to find a sermon and seeing your comment confirmed this is the one I should listen to as there are many sermons under the title of rejection. We aren't perfect cookies all with the same ingredients, same amount of chips ..individuals we are made ,yet we are all seeking a similar goal in running the race for which we are called heaven ward in Christ Jesus. Prideful comment you made of how isn't it about time .. WHOS TIME ???, yours ? We all are different... His time HE works in us those things He uproots and He deals with His children differently on that ,obviously. None of us are on the same page but as my husband said once , We're in the same 📖 book. This sermon was him !! I learned a lot about myself from this, that the enemy is after what God created. But you will not retain possession of what God has hand picked to make a difference in this world! Thank you man 🙏🏽

This pastor is so helpful. I've been in church for 40 years and never heard a message on this subject, yet I've struggled with it my entire life! Gregory is now one of my favorite pastors on KZread! Thank God for this platform where God can bring us messages like this from pastors we would never have had the opportunity to hear!

Lord I pray that the root of rejection is uprooted from my husband Carlton, Jesus please deliver him from anger and set him free, so that his relationship will improve with me and children. @@TheTreasureSeeker01 no, not really, I just realised that not all the prayer in the world will save our loved ones, and praying is just a joke. My father recently passed away from cancer, and it has left us all hollow and broken, we prayed with all put hearts, and our prayers were not answered.
