I have one question. Why does it seems like we meditate on good thoughts for years and the good hasn’t come to pass yet and w Just one negative thought and the bad happened soon. Doesn’t God’s word has more power than our own negative thoughts ? If someone can help me understand this and let me see where / what i am missing here.. thanks

Define good. Perhaps the good you think you aren't receiving is something particular and yet God has blessed you in other ways you need to acknowledge. I have had many trials for years,some severe and yet by Gods grace I can always see and thank God for something good in the midst of them. Once you make that a practice, your vision opens up. That's the Holy Spirit in the believer, enlightening our hearts to notice Gods hands.
