Grande Carlitos! Te escuche en la NAMM 2018 , en un Booth que hacian luces para el atril. Yo estaba con mis bajos electricos y contrabajos justo en frente. Muy buena clase , y muy importante tener todas las herramientas del bass. Tambien el violone! abrazo!

I totally agree with you! After I started learning Double Bass (classically trained) I improved 5 times the musicianship and bassist in me, plus I also got a lot more gigs because of it. This instrument is so addictive. If I may ask, would you mind sharing some knowledge regarding the Tumbao and Cuban Rumba? Are they the same? How would we play them on the bass? @@carlitosdelpuerto You have a clear consistent sound when you play pizz. Can you do a lesson on right hand Pizz.- hand placement, angle of fingers, (1 finger, 2 finger) and what part of the finger is used when you strike the string. Thank you.

great video! playing with the bow is ESSENTIAL for the double bassist. I could listen to you all day playing on the upright. Maybe we can some tips on how to play a walking line or solo-ing over a tune? :O

Compadre buen trabajo. Añade al video or future videos, cuanto Rosin ponerle al bow y como se debe aplicar, tambien como se sabe si tienes suficiente rosin en el bow, como se sabe si tienes un buen rosin o un rosin malo, y explaica como y cuanto se debe tensar el bow, numero de turns para tensar, etc. Saludos.

I love the Spirocores..... It has to do with set up and a few other factors... but... a good set up will help a lot.... Hugs Adam....

Another factor is that the bass sounds better when you are standing in front of it rather than over it while playing. If you have someone else bow your bass while yo stand in front of it you can get an idea of how it sounds.
