Fantastic tutorial, I had changed out my upper intake gaskets a few years back but shied away from tackling in lower gaskets mostly cause of the fuel line removal. Your videos were so concise and detailed I had to problem performing the task. Got my '02 Escape running like a champ!

Glad the vids helped, NGD. I try to make the vids function more like a manual rather than entertainment vids. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video detail. Love the passion. Great baby steps for DIY. A mechanic just laughs at regular people for not knowing the nuance. Cheers brother.

I had to change one of the rear coils on a 2005 but I used this video as a guide. Good, to the point, step by step video. Probably saved me an hour or so.

wow. This is a tip notch video. The time it must have taken you to edit these 4 parts must have taken you a while. I HAVE A 2001 MAZDA tribute 4WD that spits and sputteres upon startup. So this makes the work that's to be be done, that much better. I salute you for going into great detail of everything. Thank you.

Thanks, Joseph. Yeah, the editing takes a while, but I want these videos to function more as a manual...with moving pictures, rather than videos. A lot of these jobs are the first time for me, so I try to offer vids from the perspective of someone who has never done a certain repair before, thus the details. Thanks for watching!

Hay una válvula atrás de la cámara (plenum), creo es un solenoide de purga del sistema EVAP, que batalle mucho para quitarla, de hecho se me quebró... no aparece en este video.

I replaced the gaskets under the valve cover but not the lower gaskets I believe after I changed my spark plugs . Could that be the reason why when I start my car the rpms are very high around 4000?

What year escape is this? I have an '05 and the layout on some the hoses and disconnections are in different plaves and some have different connections. Also when disconnecting the transaxle vent tube it began leaking a dark pinkish fluid (transmission?) Should I be worried about that?

Justin Edwards most times it’s the IAC valve. I found that on other Ford Escape videos.
