One can tell a quality piece of furniture from a cheap one, when the upholstery is gone. In another video, they were reupholstering a cheaper chair, and they actually had cardboard wrapped over the arms, from - the - factory, instead of springs in the arms, as this settee does.

L Walshy The time it takes to produce it, and the quality of the construction, makes it worth it, if one can afford it. You have a good bit of work in these. The video about the chair was on a Sailrite video, on reupholstering a chair, and I could not believe how the furniture factory, who built the chair, had took regular cardboard, and faced the inside of the armrests, and rolled it over the top, with no springs or webbing. Then, the factory hadn't used any foam on the armrests, only two pieces of batting under the fabric. Also, when looking at the wooden frame, I saw gaps in some of the joints. It was terrible construction, but a man gets what they pay for.
