The brakes were failing in my Sambar van which presented the opportunity to stuff larger, domestically sourced parts in it. A Geo Tracker brake booster was one of the smallest I could think of.
With some grinding and welding I got it to fit. It wasn't easy but now the pedal feel is good, stops on a dime and costs less than JDM replacement parts.
I used the booster and master cylinder from a 1990 Geo Tracker
