    Could get a bale processor and shred that crummy hay lightly across those light spots. Heck, could bale up slough hay and leave them in the field, spring rolls around shred em on the hills. I suppose thats something i should think about doing too in a few years when dad cuts down on the cattle...

    @@fettigfamilyfarms only thing to keep in mind is possible weed seeds... but i guess better weeds growing on the light soil than it being completely dead 🤣

    Ya what I think would work the best is catails with a shreder put that trash hay to use. And if there is weed seeds I know you guys do some organic but chemicals work lol
