Upgrading my Laguna P|Flux 1 to 220v
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
My Laguna P|Flux 1 has been a great addition to my shop but to get the most out of it I switched to to run off 220v instead of 110v. It’s a pretty simple process that took less than an hour.

Question on the wiring. Do you have the black on the top left or right? Wire 2 and 3 or gray and red are in the middle I thought the diagram shows yellow or 4 on top right and 1 or black on top right. Thanks for any input
Question: the official Laguna web site instructions say nothing about rewiring the motor only the board. Also did you replace the 25 amp protector with a 15 amp as per Laguna instructions?
What did you do about the remote
good video

what did you do about the remote?
Hello, I am considering purchasing the Laguna Pflux 1.5 like yours. I would like your thoughts on the power of the unit. Is the 1.5 enough or should I get the 2 HP? I want the HEPA . I am replacing a old grizzly . My shop includes stuff like 8 inch jointer, 16 inch drum sander , 13 inch planer, 10 inch table saw, 13 inch band saw, radial arm saw and a few others. I am using PVC 6” pipe dropping to 4” before the tools, longest run is to my table saw with 20 feet of 6inch then 9 feet of 4inch to a few feet of 4inch flex. 34 feet total, this is really the only tool I am worried about? I am hoping I can leverage your experience and provide your thoughts. Thank you.
The only reason anyone would watch this video is to see the way you wired it. That's also the one thing you did not show close up or in detail. Nice.

Looks simple enough! What are some of the advantages of doing this?

Thanks! It was fairly simple. Advantages; motor winds up faster, same power while using less amps, more stamina in the bedroom.

@@DanielDunlap All important! Ha ha. Thanks.
Thanks for the vid. Would really appreciate filming horizontally next time and showing more steps with close up views. Especially switching the wires, it happens so fast it’s hard to see exactly what you’re doing. Stopping to do a close up / slow view would have really helped. You otherwise do a good job explaining. Couple tweaks and the videos would be top notch. Thanks again.
What is the point of making this video if you fast forward the details on how to wire it for 220? I would have benefited more watching it in real time.
