Upgrading a cheap 2A USB charger for fast charge

Here's how to get a full charge out of those cheap chinese chargers. They need the data pins shorted out in order to signal to your phone, "yes, this is a wall charger". You can do this easily with a drop of solder in the right place.
Note that these will get warm while charging at full output - your next mod might need to be vents in the case!

This is not how chargers work. You need higher amperage to have faster charging. Soldering pins together isn’t going to change the amperage on the charging block

Nice video , easy to understand... You need to be noticed . i have a dc phone charger that conect to the motorcycle battery , only drawing out 0.5 amp :/ wonder if i could make it bigger by this way . thumbs up for you brah .

I tried this on an e-circuit brick from dollar tree, souldered the two middle pins and so far hasnt fast charged. If you could, pls see if they can work with this trick. If so, save alot of money on fast chargers

You need a 2 amp or better. Check to see if yours is 1A. The 1 Amp chargers don't have enough current for fast charge
I have a 5v 1.0amp Alcatel charger for my fierce xl, I have a generic charger with 5v 1500ma output, will this help a lot?

get a app called ampere check max current if it's 500ma it's not soldered if 1500 it is. if it's 1500 it won't do anything
But there is some dodgy capacitor instead of Y1
It won't work with iPhone or Apple devices!

be carefull..hoax tutorial....you just to short data pin on your cellphone....not increase dc current on charger...
