@PackTheVanAndGo Scotland is as stunning as ever. Still in Galloway as been building a bed on my lovely friends van, and also helping out on a friends pony rescue place and Aire. Then heading just the other side of Loch lomond and dropping down onto the coast as its beautiful and peaceful with ancient history thrown in haha. Try to explore before heading to willowfields

Thanks buddy, a friend will be using a spray gun to raptor the slides for me, hopefully that will give it a better finish! Hope your well?

Love your vids mr , you seem very humble and don’t glamorise van life …I love your plans to upgrade the van , make it truly all season . Any tips for places to visit in Scotland , I’m falling for the place , got a small road trip planned in my camper soon ……….Glencoe , Oban, loch fyne..just to see how it goes for now 👍👍👍👍

Hi mate, thank you for the kind words, I can't be arsed with creating drama like a lot of Vanlifers on KZread for the sake of making money, prefer to document. my life with my dog to look back on in later life... live a simple life! I have a playlist of my Scottish adventures with plenty of park ups from my 3 winters in scotland! or just use the park4night app, plenty of places to explore! Enjoy Scotland mate!

I’m not too sure to be honest mate. I guess they all should be the same and the vans are all the same just different grills

The whale sliding electric is more practical for not flapping up isn’t it - only thing I’ve found is you sometimes need two hands to unplug the cable and can be a tight fit with it but other than that great and better design I think. Sounds like great plans for the van. Have a lovely rest of the week and weekend, all the best, David & Rachel 👍

Hi mate, hope you’re well? Yeah the slide up hook up so much more practical and cleaner in its design! Hopefully won’t be a tight fit once in, but have to admit I don’t hook up very often! Stay safe mate and regards from me and Archie 🐾

I’ve an L4H3 van comes with 16” standard rims and has the black wheel arch mouldings. Do you know if the tyre/wheel combo you have fit my van without rubbing. I’m planning a lift kit next year

Hi mate, yeah once you have the lift kit, the bigger tyre on the 16” wheel won’t run with the arch mouldings, so you’ll be fine mate

Auxbeam is the company and it the 52inch light bar… and it comes with brackets which attach to the top of the van and then onto the bar 👍

Why don't you paint the bonnet the same as the sides & back door?

I choose not to paint the bonnet in raptor as it’s a thick course paint. I’d rather use a black wrap for a smooth finish 👍 just personal preference

You can spray Raptor with a fine finish. I used a variable raptor gun. In fact I’ve just RAPTORED the shower tray. Looks great.

@@craster_van_kippers I've already go the wrap for the bonnet, just prefer the look of the wrap on the bonnet and raptor on the sides! hope you guys are having fun?
