I modified my slide on my standard hellcat and my pro to take holosun 407ks. I trust the hellcats so much , I don't mind losing the warranty. Much better fitment to the slide without the adapter plates. Sights cowitness perfectly with the direct mount optic. Only piece of advice I have is once you machine the rear lugs flush, and the front lugs a few thousandths , cover the raw material with cold bluing or cerakote to avoid corrosion down the road.
Does your CH plate allow for a Co Witness of the iron sights with the 507k?
Can you cowitness with these and the adapter plate?
this is a off-topic question but can you swap the slide rail from an osp/rdp to hellcat without the baseplate?
If u use the adapter plate forgot about using sights as back up. U will need to change them out. Night fision has a great pair to co witness. I changed mine and love them.

I improved the rail on my hellcat osp so that it can use a standard Glock notch WML
Swamp Fox Sentinel works damn well ............ has "shake-awake" and brightness is very strong ....... also comes in green 🙂

I have the HellCat with a HS507K-gr, I can not get it to shot lower then the bottom setting of the top set screw. If I need to shot in the chess at 15' I have to go for a gut shot. To help this out I put in shim under the site in the front

I'm interested in placing a Holosun EPS or SCS Carry on a Hellcat RDP. Why doesn't Holosun make a model EPS/SCS that will direct mount without the plate. I'm concerned about the weight of the plate affecting the slide function, should I be concerned? If you grind on the slide to fit either of these two model red dots directly on the RDP is there a downside? TIA

The plate weighs nothing so it isn’t a concern. If you grind down the lugs you would need shorter screws
I put a Cyclee Cat Pro on my Hell Cat Pro. Mounted with no adapter plate. Co-witnesses as well.

@@earlyblackmz I would recommend it to anyone! Have not had any trouble with it. Probably put 1000 rounds thru gun since mounting it with no problems
I’ve got the 407K on my Hellcat. Used the adapter plate. Still considering grinding down the slide.

Yea you would have better co witness that way. You may need shorter screws too. We have them if u need them!

Shield sights are pretty reputable. The only thing I’ve noticed that’s better on Holosun is it has a 7075 aluminum housing instead of 6061, it has a better water proof rating, and the emitter has a better refresh rate, and manual brightness, and has different reticle options

Yea. They don’t because the entire unite is waterproof. It’s the only one in this size that is. IP67

Depends on your preference for the reticle. I personally like the 407k green the best because I like the 6 MOA

I prefer the 6moa as well. Especially for a self defense gun. Not looking for precision. Just need to find that dot ASAP!!!
