Tito is a handy man. I've been electrician for 40 year now. The new wago is even smaller than these. Another name used is handbrakewago or mistakewago (tabbewago) I will replace the old light with downlighs like this in black. Therwill be a hole in the middle, So I mus use three I think I will use it's ovn switch for the middle light. I will order a remotce cntrol. Here in Norway I use a 4kw Rvtransformer 230v AC50HZ - 120vAC/60Hz for my North American RV. I use both 120v and 230v outlet inside the RV at the campeside with shorepower. Can use converters too.

Those dimmer lights are sweet! We have a 2019 OutdoorsRV 24RKS travel trailer and are now in the mode of making modifications. The first upgrade happened a couple of weeks ago. I took the plunge and got a Battle Born 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery and installed a lithium compatible Progressive Dynamics converter charger. Everything seems to be working great. It's amazing how fast that battery can charge! Solar is next!

I put two of those dimmers in myself. Swapped out the halogen puck lights for dimmable LED’s and we enjoy them much, much more. There had been 7 halogens and they were so bright, it was like being on stage! Plus the heat generated was ridiculous. Now we keep those LEDs powered down low and it’s much more comfortable.

Hi Brian! Been following for a couple years. You are a total inspiration. I had to try your tip on using the alligator clip and wire to divert the water that was running down the side of our class c that drains from our AC. Wow! So simple yet so effective! Also just finished a major floor repair. Had to hit the whole bathroom floor and part of the hallway. I took it in for an estimate at our local rv dealership and they wanted $4000.00 to redo the floor. That didn’t include the leak! Again, encouraged by your video, The total cost after tools and materials $400.00!!!!! Thanks so much. Oh yeah, love the dimmers. May have to do that one too!

Nice. Just picked up new Grand Design 310GK, however, all the LED lights in ceiling have particles in the fixtures -:guess the vacuum must not have worked well that day or thought the virus might spread or something. Also noticed a lot of wood particles in cabinets, flooring, cupboards. Especially notices on first trip away from dealer. Any way to safely pull out the LED lights from ceilings and get white cover off to vacuum them clean and put back together? I tried putting in the LCI thin shade for door prepped window, top went in fine, the bottom was difficult, and the latch on lower left broke off...so hoping the three will work, or how to replace the inside of the thin shade windoe

Time to invest in a Sonic Crafter for cutting those square holes. Plunge cutting, sanding, scraping they can’t be beat. If you don’t want to spend that kind of money, get a knock-off at Harbor Freight.

I've replaced all the light bulbs in my trailer with daylight led bulbs because of our old eyes. We're past the stage of needing mood lighting! Wow, those Wago connectors would've been really great when I recently replaced the incandescent tail lights on the trailer with led units! I think I'll just order those just to carry around in the trailer. Thanks!

You'd have to wire a dimmer between the control panel and each light you want dimmable.

Awesome video Tito. Just subscribed to your channel. Im a first time RVer with pretty decent DIY electrical experience in 120v AC and a little 12v Dc (stereo/fog light installs in rigs). I’m getting ready to install a dimmer for our bedroom ceiling lights- 2020 grand design imagine 3100RD TT. I’ve pulled the existing switch and it’s a standard 2-pole with those flat spade connectors. The power (line) side is a single 12v wire and on the load (to lights) side, its two wires crimped nicely into one spade connector. The problem is there’s no ground in that wall to connect the 3rd wire on the dimmer. This however is the same wall that the converter/breaker/fuse panel is located. I know you can’t see my system, but any recommendations on finding a suitable ground would be appreciated. I’ll of course use my multimeter when doing my job.

There will certainly be a grounded negative bussbar near the DC panel. There will also be one on the light fixture itself that you could splice into. The negative DC wires are typically white.

Brian, I literally JUST received that dimmer control I purchased for another project on my bedroom reading lights. Maybe I am jumping the gun here because I haven't finished your video... did you have any issue with LED lights and a dimmer? I am looking for replacement bulbs for the project I am working on and they all say "Non-Dimmable". I also noticed on the back of mine it has a tab you can barely see for "3-way switching". Of course, no directions came with mine... might have to experiment!

Am I crazy or are the switches swapped in the video? The rocker switch is where the “dimmer” label is and the slider is where it says “on/off”. Not that it matters based on where you ended up putting it lol. Manufacturing mistake?

Sorry, lost me. This didn’t show the needed details. Primarily, didn’t connect the dots between each lights to the dimmer - reds whites and blacks, or how you described was going to be each seat’s ability to control individual dimmer levels, or how they tie in to the main power. A simple diagram we could freeze on and refer to would be invaluable, too. So in the end, no detail on connections to make this actionable.
