Equip the donor weapon (the weapon who's stats you're going to put into the master sword) 2. Crouch, make sure you're not holding a weapon 3. Open inventory 4. Drop donor weapon, equip master sword 5. Drop a shield, the bigger the better, I usually drop a rocket or wing shield and it always works 6. Buffer (unpause and pause really quick) 7. Drop master sword 8. Unpause 9. Stay crouched, walk over and pick up only the donor weapon 10. Check inventory and profit

Got it to work like first try thanks! I also tried this with bows and was able to get the 5x shot modifier on any bow which no other glitch has worked for that until this one on 1.0.0 in my experience.

Thank you so much for this!! I have now upgraded all of my elemental MSGs to have the 10 plus attack and the 1 durability critical hit. Being able to reuse the same stick and just fuse different materials to it while keeping the 10+ modifier and the 1 durability is so clutch. Again, thank you so much for this Suishi.

I found that the closer you are to the octorock the better the chances are for an increase in attack… after throwing at a distance and getting long throw 5 times in a row it made sense 😂

Great tutorial, thank you! I was roaming with my upgraded master sword and was hearing a strange noise, like an electric vehicle. Turns out it’s the master sword. If I change weapon, no more sound. Creepy!

in 1.0.0, when I'm flat against the wall, and pull out the shield, is does actually force the perspective behind Link, no matter which wall I go to, either the house, or even in the In-Isa Shrine, it always forces the perspective behind. 1.0.0 is different than other patches in many regards it seems.

you stop the perspective force by moving your camera when you pull the shield out. the wall has nothing to do with the camera perspective

Works every time my brother👍 In order to keep the brand new sparkle on the MSG, u need to fuse with a weapon with 40+ durability like the Pristine knights halberd. Favourite fuse is + 10 atk with MSG/Hylian shield or MSG/Light dragon horn

I got it to work adjusting donor weapon distance from the wall. After you have parried your shield twice, your distance to the donor weapon is a bit closer but not to the point where you can grab it. This technique works very well with 1.1.0. For 1.0.0 I can only fused materials without having plus 10 attack modifier. Hope this help.

So I unfused the msg and my "msg is close to breaking" and I cant seem to fuse again does that means I need a new msg? *okay I’ll need a new msg to make the fuse work again*

Thanks, with the help of your videos I got a 190 dmg MSG and fused it to my 3 elemental MSGs. Was a bit too OP for my liking so I dropped the zuggle and use just the 190 MSG but having the zuggle ability will be fun to play with when I feel like it. Thanks, liked and subbed

Provided youre on a version the glitch works on, its most likely because the pause buffer is too slow. Instead of pressing ++ after dropping the sticks and equipping the msg, instead press - and load 1 memory. skip through it and once its done press + to go back to the menu and drop the msg.

Do you have a video on how to go about getting the MSG not found sword?? I checked and didn’t see one with that title. I know there are a ton of videos from other people on here, but you explain things in a way that I can understand. Any chance you’d be interested in making one?

Marbled Gohma drops a ball which has the highest attack power. I fused that one to my master sword to break rocks

So the RGC does indeed give you a critical hit at 5 durability left.... BUT ITS NOT A CRIT HIT. It is a normal hit. On the last hit the RGC yet doubles the attack yet again. It is why the RGC+mulduga jaw+radiant armor+atk3 is so devistating. Im not on my game now but i think RGC+jaw is like 148 on a last hit is 592. Add bone prof you get 1066 and add atk3 you get 1599 dmg per hit. Silver Lynels melt in just a couple hits. But you have to be super careful because its stupid easy to destroy the weapon with how fast they die

Is there something I’m doing wrong I don’t get the weapon stat transfer after I pick up the weapon?

I have V1.1.1 and i have tried to do this with a Royal Guard Claymore fused to a Molduga Jaw, with a Scimitar of Seven fused with a White Maned Lynel Horn and a RGC fused to a White Lynel Horn and it always does the same for me... 30 MsgNotFound sword that does not flash and does not seem stronger. I tried to watch a memory instead of ++ like you advised some to do, but still having no luck. Also tried moving the donor weapon closer to see if that helped but no change. Any thoughts?

@SuishiYT never mind. I finally got it. I removed my bow when against the wall and had an unused shield this time and did 2 shield parrys then did the process and it worked perfectly.

If i were to try this with the Gloom Club would the Gloom Effect Carry over? If i were to try this with the scimitar of the seven would the power of the fuse material still carry over as x2? 😅

It didn't seem to work for the scimitar of the seven. My msg only had the base 30 + 55 for the silver lynel horn, + close to breaking was hoping to get the +110.

My fused material on MSG ends up breaking. Is that supposed to happen? I can’t fuse new material after it breaks.

Why on 1.0.0 the attack up +10 doesn’t show up on my msg? Then i only have 170 damage

was messing with this and somehow ended up with the one of the spears on i was using on my back while still being able to use another weapon

For some reason when I drop my sticks and pause buffer and drop the msg it turns into a stick

I'm struggling with this. I'm on 1.1.1. I have the real Master Sword and 3 copies of the MSG (I'm doing the glitch on one MSG). I've tried using the + + and watching a memory as well as varying my distance to the wall (Shrine and Link's house) and the dropped weapon, but still nothing happens when I pick up the fused branch/silver linel saber horn (1 damage remaining). Any other suggestions? Thanks for all the videos you do.

Quick question are there any glitches curently to make the master swords base power read more than 30? If it was say 50 pluss sLs 55 = 105 pluss att 10 boost = 115 with crit range being a base of 230 ? Tldr is there a way to raise the MS base power ?

This will completely overwrite the existing values for fusion, durability and upgrade any time it's done. There is no way to stack multiple items/effects on the same weapon

I try to follow the steps, but when unpause after buffering, it just equips a long stick, yet it says I have the msg equipped do know how to fix that

I think that this is very common knowledge by know but the actual factor of this glitch working or not, is the space between link and the wall, the items that you drop should not leave that many space to drop the MSG, you'll know that the glitch is working, if you don't see the MSG at your back but still being equipped on the menus. This glitch works for shields, but you need to fuse it first to a rock or fan. it also works on bows as well.

Do you have a video on how to get the glitched master sword attack 10 up to 95? After fusing it with silver Lynel horn 85 damage is the most I can get. Octorocks won't upgrade just spit it out.

I've read it's for display only. The sword is still at 30 base attack damage even though it says 95, 70, etc.

@@LittleMopeHead From experience, I do notice it does significantly more damage to enemies compared to the 30. Fighting Lynels becomes way faster.

What keeps happening here is i get to the last bit where the three sticks dont make it back to my inventory after the pause buffer, I then drop the msg, I do get the message that the item can't be dropped here; right after one of the long sticks returns to my back as if it was equipped

I got a Msg not found through a trader mod and maybe thats whats cauing it but It will not work with this glitch no matter how many times ive tried. I also cant get the regular way of getting the Msg for some reason. Im on 1.1.1

@@SuishiYT Disregard it does work with the msg I have. I believe it was because I was running the game at 60 fps and it would get the frame timing corect. took that mod out and it worked. Thanks for the quick reply!!

I tried this originally when this was first discovered and it was "necessary" for you to have the royal guards claymore and it never worked but this is the first one that actually worked

Will the master sword always flash red when you transfer the critical hit from your base weapon? And can you just transfer the ten attack upgrade from the octorok without the critical hit? To get the 95 attack master sword?

So if i use a bokablin arm for the base weapon would my sword be boosted by the evil spirit set?

When I drop the sticks it just drops 2 of them but it takes one stick always. 2 remains in the ground but link picks up one and it get glitched the msgnotfound with the stick

yes. it should copy durability value and fused material from the donor weapon. it should also copy the upgrade effect on 1.0 but im not 100% positive

for smaller enemies that are not considered bosses, there is a better version of this. fusing a frost gleeok horn to this version of the master sword (one hit from breaking with +10 attack) you do 560 damage every two hits. since freezing an enemy and hitting them after triples your damage, you are doing 140x3+140 = 560 per 2 hits. 560/2 = 280 per hit. so instead of doing 190 per hit, you are doing 560 damage every two hits.

Ive follower every instruction, im on 1.1 , the sticks are dropped and it tells me i cannot take out my msg. Yet when i go to pick up the original weapon nothing happens, any tips?

Sounds like the pause buffer isn't fast enough. Try watching a memory instead of pause buffering with + +

But i don’t do it with sticks but with a rgc at +9 and some fuse mat with +17 dmg and on its last hit.. does it have to do something with it ?

I can only throw 2 long sticks on the ground, the third one is automaticly equipped

Got to the next to last step where I unequipped the message not found sword when i unpaused i still have one of the long sticks on my back it register as msg sword but now matter what i do im not unarmed

So I’ve had an issue with this glitch no matter what I do, every time I do the wall ++ with the sticks, I get the message of not being able to pull it out but only 2 sticks drop on the floor and one goes on my back then the rest just doesn’t work, any ideas?

if damage is the goal, wouldn't a(multiplies higher, since it can stack) bone +3 and atk +3 deal more (guessing you dont want to do that since u need atk up food)

Bone proficiency and moldyga jaw would be the absolute highest damage, but that requires specific gear and also attack food. The lynel horn gives you the highest flat damage with no additional variable requirements

But is it me or anyone had same experience, it only work one for hit and the material just broke (i used ancient blade) and the attack power drop to 40 again (cause upgrade attack +10). Or is it because the material i used is ancient blade?

Its due to the material. Single use items like ancient blades and gibdo bones are still only single use on the msg

I did this and works great. Thank you... I do have a question... Once you've done this and say you decide you want to try a different fuse combo.. do you need to smuggle in a NEW MSG not found or can you re fuse the one you already did with different materials?

You can just destroy the fused material and refuse something else to it with a glitch. I wouldnt recommend using this method to change the material tho. u can also dup your weapon your using as a base for this to works best with blade type that are not two handed like black bokoblin or non silver lynels

what do you mean it equips the 3rd stick? is just the last stick returning to your inventory after the pause buffer and getting reequipped? are you equipping the left-most stick before you start dropping?

After the pause buffer (before dropping the msg) the stick doesn’t come back, but after dropping the msg, the stick does come back and the msg is equipped but shows the stick being held by link, if that makes sense? It’s like that final step something goes wrong before being able to grab the dropped weapon and get the stats transferred over. Tried picking up the weapon with just the two sticks dropping and nothing happens to the msg

@@masterpurifier so it sounds like youre ending up with an old method of zuggling. few quick questions; - are you visibly holding the stick and msg at the same time? - is the wall youre using open and unobstructed or are you more near a corner? - are you wearing bulky equipment (armor, shield, bow)?

@@SuishiYTI don’t believe link is visibly holding both the stick and msg, but I’ll have to test it again and see, I believe it’s just the stick. I’m using the same spot on the wall in the shrine as you were. I tried it with the evil spirit armor and without any armor, took the bow off too for a couple attempts with and without the armor, but still keep the Hylian shield on in the attempts, not sure if I should unequip it after doing the 2 shield bashes. Also really appreciate the responses!

Dunno why when I plus plus and drop my msg I pick up the stick and the msg looks like a Stick so I use the base for the stick spot but it doesn’t transfer the ups

I dunno I fallow the steps to a T but I still pick up the stick as I drop the msg and it turns the msg into a stick. It pretty much rewrites the msg to a stick when I drop the msg by mistake

@@SuishiYT I am on version 1.0, but since I posted this I found a guide on how to do it on youtube for that version. For anyone else having this problem and you're on 1.0, here's a different method thats really easy: 1. Equip the donor weapon (the weapon who's stats you're going to put into the master sword) 2. Crouch, make sure you're not holding a weapon 3. Open inventory 4. Drop donor weapon, equip master sword 5. Drop a shield, the bigger the better, I usually drop a rocket or wing shield and it always works 6. Buffer (unpause and pause really quick) 7. Drop master sword 8. Unpause 9. Stay crouched, walk over and pick up only the donor weapon 10. Check inventory and profit Anyway ty Suishi for making this guide, I decided to go with the +10 Light Dragon's horn without the one hit from breaking buff, cuz it feels lore accurate It has exactly 60 damage like the full powered master sword of BotW, and (SPOILERS FOR TOTK) its invincible and HEALS YOU with every attack you land, not to mention the horn comes from zelda herself, who said her power would be with you in the sword 🤯🤯 glitches R fun

Ive done this but my msgnotfound reverts back to only 40 damage. It says 90 at first but always goes back down after a certain amount of time.

@@briankingakaspud2546 so single use materials will still be single use when fused to the msg. ancient blades arent permanent fuse material, thats why it keeps going down

ok I am on 1.1.0 and got this to work (it took a few tries but worked)

I can't drop 3 spears at once because it forces the third one I drop back into my inventory and it ruins the whole glitch and stops it from working. Can anyone help me?

You can tell if it didn't work if: after dropping the sticks, you still see the master sword on your back

im in 1.0.0 i cant drop 3 stick to theground last one alway back to Link hand

Im on 1.0.0 too i tried this method and the last one always equip the long stick but it names MsgNotFound but reequiping it changes the original appearance

Probably has to do with the distance from the wall, but I've found that if I hold ZL through all the menus (in an attempt to keep my shield raised the entire time), it's been more consistent for me. I don't think I've seen anyone else suggest that, though. I've also usually hit 'A' 3 times to step away from the wall instead of the 2 used here.

Kind of. They need to be the same size and you need 3 of them

No matter where I am I can not drop 3 of the same weapon at the same time, I am on version 1.0.0, how do I fix this
