This is a video I will watch again just to recapture the layout. I've not ever come close to building such a large station. Looking forward to the next episode.

I'd bet that the platform selection shenanigans happened because of the "last waiting signal" problem : When you were selecting a platform in the back as the main platform for a line, then the line is set to go to the last signal (one that is burried inside the station), thus making the "entrance" platform not accessible. As as soon as you selected an "entrance" platform as the main platform for the line, the line was happily able to also go to the back platforms :D I'd guess that without the buried signals, the lines would also work with back platforms as main platform and still be able to go to the entrance ones

I mean...yes...it's just silly that technically the "same" result can only be reached from 1 side, not both...but it's just code.
Hi Bballjo, yeah, I'm still following yer stuff LOL You are not able to fully use all alternate plaforms because you have placed signals inside the station in an inbound direction, delete those and you will still get both functions, as the game will still use the implied signal system. Signals placed in outbound directions can have thier uses and won't interfeare with the alternate platform logic. Enjoying this series, all good stuff .....edit spelling

You could place some decoration railcars on that piece of track without a platform.

Why does this sort of thing scratch an itch for me? Was I meant to design these sorts of things? Probably not, but it is pretty cool.
Do the PAX platforms have underpasses ?
