Added a battery box to mine as well, 2 lithium batteries fits nicely

Been looking at this camper for a while. Finally got my dream job that allows me to work remotely. Your videos are helpful for us beginners.

Looks like the same battery box as the 20BHS so must be standard across the models. Thanks!

Lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO 4 battery) or LFP battery.

Upgraded my battery box , thank you, now I have 2 lithium batteries 12v 100Ah , I got the same box only holds the 2 batteries

I might make a wood base for the batteries with your hold downs connected to that. That post connection shown on the battery is very close to metal. By making a wood base you would have a nonconductive bottom that you can make to center the batteries in the box and even make some side support .

Good afternoon. I was wondering if there’s anyway you could possibly send some pictures from a side profile and up against where the box meets the diamond plate? I attempted to do this exact same modification, and the toolbox ended up, hitting the back of the diamond plate, and would not rest flat on the frame in the rear. Just wondering if your box is a little bit different than the one I have. Purchased the same box from Harbor freight but I’m just wondering if maybe they redesigned it since you purchased it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Love this! Where did you get the wires that connect the two batteries? I need to find some but am unsure of where to look. I read online that it’s critical the wires are able to handle whatever the battery is kicking out otherwise they’ll cause a short.

Thanks! The camper already had two batteries and the wires were already there. Should be able to find wire and connectors just about anywhere

That setting is for a separate battery bank, so not needed in this situation.

Hmm, it works when I click on it. If you go to their website and search for “tongue box” it’s the 2.31 cu ft box

Doing a lithium upgrade to our 15TB. Remove the ground first and you won’t risk the short.

Scared of shorting out the batteries in a metal box? I want to do the same thing for my 19fbs but instead I am looking for plastic boxes that are the same price as metal.

I’m not sure how that would happen with proper installation. The metal box is much better for security purposes.

2. 12v 100Ah lithium batteries fits ok, but one 12v 200Ah battery fits better
