Took me soo long to get everything I needed for my dorm room since I ordered a lot of stuff to Penn once I got onto campus... but two months later, I’m finallyyy posting my move in vlog. Hope you enjoy!
*College has been absolutely hectic and required QUITE the adjustment since my study skills were practically non-existent after my gap semester + gap year. But freshman fall has been amazing thus far! Not sure how often/consistently I’ll be posting but I’ll try my best... stay tuned for a dorm tour + day in the life at Penn :)

You look like you could be main character in like teenage show, you look absoulutely gorgeous and I love your vibe. It's also my first year in uni, but mine is not far so I don't live in dorms, and I honestly kinda missed that vibe of moving in dorms, but it's great to stay at home because I don't have to pack and all 😂☺️
I love watching these videos. My dorm was practicality the size of the box your couch came in and I shared with two other people so it’s fun watching what other people have done at other schools lol

I went to Penn 20 years ago and the dorm furniture is exactly the same, though looks like the common space furniture has been upgraded significantly.

Just curious as I’m not from the States, do you live in the same room the 4 years of university or do you leave every summer and move to a different room? What do you do with all that stuff during summer time?

You have to move out at the end of every school year (May/June). You have to pack everything up and will move into a different room the following school year. I find that your first year you over pack and the next couple of years you learn what you can live without.

At Penn, students are required to live in campus housing for the first two years. Freshmen live in dorms and have to move out during the summer (I'm planning on storing my stuff in a storage locker over the summer). I'm planning on living in a campus apartment next year and living in an off campus apartment my 3rd and 4th years.

If I were to guess, I'd say 1/4 got singles but I'm not exactly sure. Of all the freshman I know who requested singles, they all got them. There are still a fair amount of doubles and triples though!

@Kimmylovelife my view is opposite. Ivy universities don't / cant teach things any differently. They attract rich and powerfuls due to the media hype and marketing. Due to the same hype, all the talented people get attracted to join them. So for common and average students ivy universities are good for nothing.
