    Hey Jennifer! Thank you. The natural parting for me is the way to go. I cannot see back there and it makes the process so much easier. And that is one of the reasons for the back, I do not make it a point to focus on parting, well, exact parting lol.

    Absolutely stunning. In the past, my mother, who wasn't born in America, used to discourage me from wearing natural styles in professional settings due to the societal responses she witnessed me receive (she has "type 2" hair). Over time, I've tried my best to explain to her that our hair being in its natural state, and us styling our hair to thrive in those natural states, is not the problem. Now, we bond over your hair styling videos. Thank you! 😊❤

    Your hair and your heart are beautiful! I have learned so much from you. Also, you’re blessed with a profoundly stunning presence and style. I kindly recommend to minimize breakage heavily moisturizing , layering your smoothie, and Chebe oil before detangling each large section then install twists to fully lubricate the hair strands minimizing breakage and minimizing excessive passes with the detangling brush. This will minimize excessive breakage with multiple passes on the fully lubricated and moisturized strands and save on time. Placing a natural light flaxseed gel on the ends seals and protects wonderfully minimizing single-strand knots. Remoisturizing and sealing once or twice a week depending on your needs is advisable. God blessed me to come from upper neck to end of tail-bone length hair with profound thickness and strength in 6 years. Ladies, embrace and honor your beauty. God is good! Blessings and peace to you!🌹

    hello!! i am very interested in starting a mini twist journey. i am mixed (white and black) with small ringlet curls that sit at shoulder length and roughly bra strap length when straight. do you think my hair would be suited for mini twists? i have limited exposure in my personal life to the dos and donts of natural hair so most of what i know is self taught and i would say i have an intermediate level of knowledge when it comes to natural hair. my hair is in pretty good condition i’ve grown out all the former treatments (color mainly) and only use heat every 3-4 months when i want it straight. i haven’t had any kind of braiding in my hair since i was about 7 or 8. i LOVE your videos thank you for your wonderful explanations!!!!

    Hello Alena! Thank you so much for your words. I would say yes! Your hair is suited for mini twists. A few things: 1. Some women in the community have stated that braids work better for fine natural hair and that mini twists tangle fine hair. If you have fine hair try the mini twists and see if they work for you. 2. Be mindful of how long you keep them in, we don't want your hair to lock. 3. You may need to change some of your products when you install your mini twists. Some use heavier butters some use lighter oils, it will depend on your hair. 4. Lastly, have fun ! It is journey and you will learn so much about your hair !

    Hello, I’m new to the channel. First I would like to say that your hair is beautiful! Quick question, do you work out? I wanna try this on my hair but I go to the gym often and I’m just kinda concerned about the sweat causing it to puff up or even come undone.

  • @poquitovibes9432

    @poquitovibes9432

    5 ай бұрын

    Some people start with a braid about a inch down and then go into a twist. It helps to keep the roots from puffing and it helps to make the twist last longer. Also the smaller the twist the less likely they will unravel. And when they’re small they will last longer. Because you workout and sweat you can try stretching your twist a bit while you work out by using buns. Just twist the bun or buns into a hair tie. After you workout out and shower keep the bun in until your scalp fells dry enough to remove the hair tie without too much shrinkage. And you need to cleanse your twist more often because you workout. Or at lease cleanse when you feel itchy or you get that dirty goopy feeling when you touch your hair.

    Hello and welcome to the community! Thank you. I am not currently working out, but when I was I did also wear mini twists. I found a product to help with the sweat and build up: ROOT REFRESH Micellar Rinse with Apple Cider Vinegar link - bit.ly/497tfrZ Now the puffiness is inevitable the older the mini twists become. If you are referring to the roots, as someone else from the community pointed out you can braid your roots, I do not, but many women do. Coming undone, I have never had this issue. If they were to come undone I would just sprits with water and add some product to re-twist with.

  • @heredianna2496

    @heredianna2496

    @@tmiller7755If you do mini twists I strongly advice you to not braid at the roots because it's going to be a nightmare to remove. This tip would work better with medium size twists. I learned that through personal experience but you can also check the youtuber "roothie" mini twist take down where she braids all her mini twists at the roots.... If you have kinky/oily hair you mini twists should be able to last long enough but for presentation purposes you may still want to braids the perimeter twists only so when you wear it in a bun it still looks neat longer and when you unravel it it's only 10% of your twists that start with braids. Hope it helps.

  • @KlassicallyKept

    I think you are asking how tightly I am twisting my hair. I don't twists very tight, but I also have thick hair. After a twists is finish it will shrink. Some stay straight and some curl up. For this install the Chebe grease definitely elongated my mini twists, by the next morning they shrunk and were not as straight as you saw at the end of the video.
