(UPDATED) IRIHUP 2000A JUMP STARTER VS. CADILLAC V8

Today, we give the Irihup 2000A a second chance to see if it could jump start our 2004 Cadillac Deville V8 with the Northstar system. In the first video the Irihup 2000A was unable to jump start the 2004 Cadillac V8 directly from the battery under the backseat in the car for whatever reason. We were told by numerous people, including representatives from Irihup, mechanics, KZreadrs, ETC., that the battery layout in your vehicle will determine if your portable jump starter will work efficiently or not. Most portable jump starters have no issues jump starting a vehicle no matter where the actual battery is located, however, there are a few different brands of jump starter that will have trouble jump starting certain vehicles where the battery is in the trunk, or under the back seat. This video is intended to give Irihup 2000A a second chance to see if its able to jump start a Cadillac V8 from the connections under the hood, and NOT from the actual battery under the back seat.
Please give us your feedback and let us know if you think the battery layout will affect the performance of certain portable jump starters.

For some reason I thought it would be stronger hooking it up straight to the battery instead of the posts under the hood. This was good to know if I ever run into that situation. I have the lokithor which in your videos had no problem with the connection straight on the battery

I would have thought that as well, but for some reason, certain jump starters won't do so well hooked up to a battery under the back seat, or a battery in the trunk. But for some odd reason those same jump starters have a better chance to work if you connect under the hood instead...I was told the battery layout affects a few portable jump starters when connected to a battery in the trunk or under the back seat....weird. Just about every jump starter i own will jump start the battery under the back seat or the connections under the hood with ease, but the Irihup 2000A and a few others have difficulties when the battery is under the back seat or trunk, I think its odd and shouldn't be the case
