I own the same jump starter and it is more than capable of starting your cadillac. You need a better connection to the cables on the car. Good luck

Every vehicle is different, and they react differently to certain jump starters. Just because the Irihup was able to jump start your V8, doesn't mean the Irihup could jump start every other V8 on the road, know what I mean. Irihup actually contacted me and told me the reason it couldn't jump start my V8 Caddy is because the engine layout is different in my car then most other models, and because the battery is under the back seat. I had a good connection the whole time, on and off camera. At first, I thought it was odd that they told me about my engine layout, and that the battery is under the back seat was the reason the Irihup 2000A was not able to jump start my V8 Caddy , but maybe they are right. Most of my other portable jump starters are able to jump start my Caddy V8 with the battery under the back seat, but maybe the Irihup does have issues with certain engine layouts. Not all jump starters are created equal...lol. Thanks for the comment
Those side post are notorious for being hard to jump start. Hard to get a good connection.
