    GUYS I am so sorry I actually meant to include info about shelf life and avoiding spoiling in the video .... So upset that that clip seems to have been omitted by accident. I guess I will have to do a follow up video, in which case I can show application as well perhaps. Please see below what was meant to be in the clip. 1. My first time making this I got mould but that was because I washed the rosemary and it was not thoroughly dried. The mould grew directly on the the exposed portions of the rosemary. I then became SUPER PARANOID and would wash the rosemary the night before and dry over night in my boiler cupboard. I also went to keep my oil in the fridge after diffusing in my cupboard for two days and use it up in 2 weeks. That is not a problem for me as I use it as a prepoo and scalp treatment and I have started using it on Jaiyah. It is very important to ensure no moisture is in the jar and that you do not allow any carrot or avocado to go through into the oil. 2. Please discard oil if the smell changes or there is any additional clouding. Tea tree can be added to prolong the shelf life. Health and safety first. Much LOVE to you all xox FULL RECIPE IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX

    I would like to add a tip here am Ethiopian and we use fenugreek for everything. What I have noticed is after giving birth traditionally women will take organic oat flour and grounded flaxseed and make it in to a purage and drink it for at least two months after giving birth. It definitely helps with hair growth and keeps your hair from falling out also makes your skin soft and radient. We use Fenugreek to help Ballance your hormones and it balances blood sugar for diebetics and helps with blood pressure, but make sure not to consume every day it can also drop your blood pressure too low only 2x a week. It balances out hormones because it's estrogenic, thats why doctors prescribe it for women who don't produce enough milk after giving birth. You can make it in to a pouder and added it to juices. Also add pumpkin seed pouder that's another food that helps with hair growth.

    I have been using this oil (the original recipe) for more than three years now. It worked wonders for both me and my daughter. When lock down started I went on to manage my sister's natural hair as she was struggling to get it to grow. I used the oil on her as well. she is amazed. Her hair grew long and thick. her hair was literally some sort of a see through the way it was so weak. Thank you very much for taking your time to do proper research, test the product and share the recipe. It takes a great effort to achieve and a caring heart to share.

    Waoow! I use this oil and it works wonders on my hair and daughter's hair😍, the result shook me!!!!, however now I don't heat up the carrot and avocado in the olive oil, I dry up the carrot, make carrot powder theen I take the avocado meat and smash it well and spread it in a wide flat container and place it in a warm place but not where there is direct sunlight, after 4 hours I mix up the darker colored avocado meat with the one underneath thats not yet changed its color then after few hours when its all dark I strain the oil out, and mix all the things together plus the other ingredients and sometimes I also add rice powder😁.

  • @andrelli82

    Everyone asking for the difference between using store bought carrot/ avocado oil or making this from fresh, the difference will be the natural vegetable water content. Remember that there's FAT-SOLUBLE vitamins (for example: vitamin A, vitamin D, and vitamin E), and there's also WATER-SOLUBLE vitamins and enzymes (such as vitamin C, and the vitamin B complex: thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), Vitamin B6, biotin (B7), folic acid (B9), Vitamin B12) Most store bought oils need to remove all water content, because water in oil feeds bacteria over time. This shortens the shelf life of the oil to maybe a week, instead of the months and months pure oil can last. That's why adding neem or rosemary is doubly good, because it's good for the scalp but it also keeps your diy oil clean for longer. So, making it from fresh is nutritionally better, because there is both water-soluble as well as fat-soluble vitamins and enzymes included (which is why we need to cook it on a low heat, it's to preserve the water soluble vitamin molecules) But it doesn't have much shelf life, so you might have to prepare very small amounts more often to prevent waste, which some people just don't have the time and money for every week. If you want a longer shelf life (maybe around a month), then combining only premade oils and the dry ingredients would be better for you. Your hair and scalp will still benefit from this recipe, because there's really so much goodness from even just 1 of these ingredients alone, this recipe will still see you though. Please don't push yourself past your limits for what you have the time and energy for. Consistency is key, so just do what you can and good luck! You'll get there.

    Infusing oils and pressed oil from vegetables are absolutely not the same thing, neither are essential oils. Infusing avocados and oil does not equal avocado oil people, let’s use common sense here.

  • @andrelli82

    @andrelli82

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hi Daniella, Thank you for adding to my original comment, but please have no worries, I do know that infusion is not the same thing as pressed oils. Thanks again though. It's because of the differences that everyone has plenty of reasons to choose either option. All I did was list some pros and cons. Using a freshly made solution is nutritionally richer, but there are still many disadvantages. The risk of bacterial growth due to the water content being the biggest problem. (Please look at the comment CurlyProverbz pinned sharing her personal experience about this). This is why I did my best to share a friendly alternative option for people who don't have the time or resources for the original recipe demands. I hope this clarifies any confusion regarding my original comment, thank you anyway!

I washed my hair as normal and I would put in twists and seal in moisture with the oil and put it to my scalp. I would do this every night or every other night depending on how I felt. A little goes a LONG way. I would love the twist in for up to 2 weeks and just repeat the process on the next wash day. Cheers to growth!

    Good morning Farida .... !!!! I made one of your beast mode hair oils ... I don’t think it was this recipe it was a different one, with vitamin c & MSM in it. Anyway, my hair has made my goal which was ear length, actually most of it is past that now. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SSSSOO MUCH !!! Their is only my left side that is still struggling a little bit but it’s not too bad & it’s actually in its recovery of repairing from breakage that was beyond belief !!! I washed my hair with a Bentonite clay this weekend && then conditioned really well wit a hydrating conditioner & when I washed all of that out of my hair I couldn’t believe what I was looking at & feeling !!!!! It seems like new follicles appeared & the thickness seems to becoming greater. I was like well who’s this girl in the mirror with all of this hair & where did all of this hair come from? I’m searching high & low for Rhausoul clay & some others but I may have to purchase online. Thank you again , much love & respect. Sorry for the length of the story sis ;)

    I’ve been using your original hair growth oil and I have seen major changes in my hair. For starters it’s a lot stronger and I notice a heck of a lot less breakage and I use to have terrible scalp inflammation and now I don’t have a single itch from my scalp. I’ve been using it for almost a month and it was the best decision ever! I also Deep condition once every two weeks and I changed my shampoo to using a mixture of peppermint Castile soap with coconut milk, castor oil and rosemary and tea tree essential oils. The only thing I will say is the msm gives me a major headache if I don’t drink enough water.

    I have finally made the original oil and have been using it consistently for the last 2 months. Guuuurrrlll when I tell you my hair has never grown this fast!! Not only the growth but the henna really has been making mu hair stronger I can literally feel the difference. I am so thankful I finally made it to bra strap length and I'm loving it. I can so relate to some of your experiences. My family members thought I was crazy making your recipes in the kitchen. Hunty I came home from a trim and a silk press and now they asking for advice. Don't worry I forwarded them to your channel. Lol You are truly a blessing thank you for sharing your content. Much love and blessings going your way❤

    This oil oh my word. I used it for the first time in 2020 and I kid u not, in one month there was a huge difference. I'm talking hair length gains, my hair grew soooo thick and strong. Even tried it on my mom who was 67 at tge time time apparently with age, there's hair shrinkage and it gets thinner so this oil is definitely tge key. Thank u so much for sharing. Hi Farida, yet another testimonial here! I have been using your original hair growth oil recipe for over 8 months. I started with a purchase of it during your collab with Belle Bar. I was so disappointed when that ended but I was determined to keep up with it so I took on the task of making it myself. It is expensive to gather the ingredients, no lie but...here's why it is worth it. I am in my 40s and was natural for 2 yrs and high porosity. My crown was thinning and I had thin edges from braiding. I started using the dropper (which is very helpful) on those areas specifically, massaging it in every other day at first, then every day. In 3 months, I started seeing little hairs in the patches where I thought hair was completely gone! Then, I started seeing my edges getting thicker. When I had to start making my own, I added MSM and Vitamin C. Massaging in every other day. Now, 6 or so months later, I have length from my crown! I even have "baby hairs" when I wake up and take off my bonnet! I just made another batch a month ago and I think I will stick with the original recipe oil. It has been working and I cannot thank you enough for sharing it!

    I love all your videos! Since your last MSM video I have been adding it once a day to water and I’ve seen faster growth in my hair and nails so thanks for that! Unfortunately anytime I put oils on my scalp it makes it super itchy...so I’ve just started adding Ayurvedic powders to my morning tea. It doesn’t taste good but for long healthy hair I don’t care! 😂

    I may look into this. I don't have a hair growing problem in general BUT I've been diagnosed a year ago with a form of alopecia, CCCA and I'm looking for treatments that will help me grow hair that I've lost. I've had waist length hair in my life, I've donated my hair (please black people, they need our hair too for wigs for cancer patients) so again, I didn't do anything b/c apparently, that is genetic driven but simply replacing hair that came out is my goal and maybe this is an option. I've tried many things and I do realize that CCCA may have sealed many follicles and there is nothing I can do to open them :-( but I have places where hair is growing but it's slow and much thinner than the rest of my hair. I may never have a center part again. I'm trying to make myself healthy from the inside out in the meantime.

    Have a look on YT for a lady by the name of Debbie Williams(I think shes a Dr in America, who deals with hair), you will see videos on what to use to, really stimulate the hair follicles, like rice water( which is a very very old Japanese tradition, called Yu-su-ru) plus other methods that may help. General statement, carrot oils and avocado oils and so on(all natural things that we use in the Caribbean, nothing new), are great, once you have some hair and want to keep it. The young lady in the videos looks mixed race, so her hair will grown completely different to the average black hair. People also have to remember genetics and the way you eat, plays a massive part in hair growth. Putting oils on your hair, without a healthy body, is not gonna give you the hair, you really want. There's a book called, Back to Eden, which will give natural advice on hair and the body.
