Amy, you never have to apologize for not doing a riveting video. Just seeing your lovely face and hearing about your plans and sick children is good enough. Many of us have been there with little ones catching every virus out there, I feel for you with so many projects you’re involved in, but things will get easier with the children. The night sky is lovely. xx

Amy i am glad you include real life episodes on your channel. Great job on the tarp. It appeared the peacock was a bit scared off by the selfie stick and the tarp noise, maybe take a piece of it and attach it to the selfie stick for defense against him next time. Could work. Hope the kiddos feel better soon. That greenhouse will be beautiful. Hadn't seen it before. The view outside after midnight was so peaceful.

Amy, I can only speak for myself, but I watch many restoration videos and since all of them takes years and years I enjoy watching the progress having no expectation of major movements. It is watching your channel and others, that owning a chateau is a dedication to having to do major work for the rest of your lives. Keep doing what your doing, we have grown attatched to your family and even the simple things puts a smile on our faces, even if it is something like you having to chase running children while filming. It's called life. Big hugs all around.

Had a rooster that would chase the kids broke the cycle by catching the rooster petting him, giving small treats teaching the kids that it was protecting the hens when to backup but never run or the rooster will continue this behavior. Life is a challenge with little ones and trying to fix and maintain your home. Small breaks, small victories and small hugs from kiddos make it worthwhile. Between you and Marc and his mighty digger you can see steps forward in your progress.

Whaoooo, beautiful greenhouse! Love the fact that the the beautiful structure goes over a digged surface below the soil level, semi enterrée, I suppose that it was done that way to ensure a certain high to the plants inside but surely they used geothermal energy to protect the plants from a harsh environment . I noticed it in a video about in the altiplano with no structure over, think it was to protect the crop from the wind. As always, it is delightful to hear you. Bon dimanche❤

I enjoyed your video. The peacock issue is too funny!! Great job with the tarp. You could have tied off to the trees as well. Tieing to a solid immovable object is always helpful. After spending years struggling with tarps to cover the seasons stack of hay bales for animal feed, a trick i finally figured out is keeping the wind from billowing the tarp too much by placing heavy objects where ever possible and by tieing off every grommrt to something, even it it is just the string from another grommet.

Hello Amy, as others have said, there is no need for you to apologise for the video content. The realities of life are so refreshing against the unreal world of social media in general. A tip with tying down the taup. Tie it to something solid on the drive side, then knot it through the eyelet on that side and then continue the rope right over the top, then knot it on the eyelet on the other side, then fix it down on that side. This means that the line is taking most of the stress, not the eyelets. This method will also help to stop it rubbing on the timber. As you have it, eventually the rope will pull the eyelets out of the taup. You are such a great team. Thank you for taking us on the journey.
