I am sure that you have heard this before, but you remind me so much of Petula Clark to look at?! You just came up on my You Tube lists, so I have subscribed to you and given the thumbs up. I love narrow boats, and have never been on one, but always fancied doing so, and even living on one as you do. I suffer sever anxiety now, and only go out of my rural home to walk my rescue greyhound Madge, and to take the re cycle and rubbish to the end of our lane. I sold my car, because I was unable to drive more than 10 mins without having to stop to be sick, and I so miss driving. I get everything delivered to me. I have not been out and about (part from having to be taken to the dentist locally to have a tooth taken out) since January 2020. I wish I could find someone like yourself on You Tube that lived near me in West Devon, as it would be lovely to have someone come to my home, just to have a bit of human company. I do love living on my own though, and doing my own thing, and I love my home. Thank you for this video, and I have subscribed to you, and given you the thumbs up. @@jillychandler thanks so much for liking and subscribing, and for your lovely comments. Funnily enough, it’s a long time since I was told that I look like Petula Clark! But when I was younger , a few people did remark on it. I’d forgotten all about that ! 😂Also when I was a kid, I used to have her single ‘Downtown’! 😂 Sorry to hear about you anxiety, and that it’s stopping you from doing all the lovely things you want/like to do. Have you tried a local Facebook group in your area. I joined a women’s car camping group, before I bought my Van, and this weekend I’m meeting up with six other women who camp in cars/vans who I’ve never met before, so that worked really well and a group like that might work for you! Not to go camping but to pop in and see you, I hope you continue to enjoy my Vlogs and hopefully they make you smile. 😊

Wow congratulations on both the certification and the van. What lovely adventures you will have and with a bit more comfort too. My garden is allotment sized but sadly full of ants and I hate using chemicals, so we tend to share whatever I grow. In fairness though, I'm not really a gardener but I do like to try. This year, I have resorted to pots and so far, I'm not doing too bad🙃 Enjoy the New Moon. Lots of love 💕🦋 xx

Congratulations Peri - what wonderful news about gaining your celebrant qualifications and your new van purchase...how exciting!!! I'm from Somerset originally but live in Aberdeenshire and your natterings are comforting to listen to as they remind me of home. I also took the plunge and recently bought a micro camper too (in the process of converting it) - bring on the van life adventures and hopefully some good weather too 🚙😄

Just subscribed. Your boat looks gorgeous! Agree with you about Glastonbury. I still enjoy a smaller festival but won’t camp again. Hope to get a camper van at some point

We're in the process of selling our little townhouse in Spain, which has been the early retirement place, beautiful mountain village. Friends think we're nuts, I do wonder 😁

I’ve never been to Northern Ireland, but I’m half Irish and planning next year to take my van around both Southern & Northern Ireland ….. should be a fab trip. Northern Ireland looks beautiful! Yea I lived in Crete for 7 years and that’s what I noticed when I came back to the UK , how green everything was! So glad you get to see some of that green in my Vlogs. 🌸

That’s very kind of you to say, I’m glad you’re enjoying my little Natterings! 😂 In my Vlog called ‘Camping Tales’ which I did about 2months ago, at the end is a full tour of my boat. You can watch the whole Vlog or push along to 26mins and it starts there. The whole Vlog duration is just over 28mins. My mooring is a permanent one, and it’s actually on the canal not in a marina. I have been up country through some of the canal system and on a couple of our rivers but I now tend to stay around the area of my mooring. As I have it all here on this canal. Nature at its best!, and I’m a bit lazy! 😂. Hope you have a lovely day🌸

Peri ~ when you say you have to film yourself conducting a marriage and a funeral, does that mean a literal or figurative one? You mentioned you have pictures to prove you tented at Glastonbury....would love to see them! I keep thinking how interesting your history seems and it would be great to see snipits and hear your stories. I echo others' congratulations to you for being a life-long learner and adventurer! You should put out a shingle when you travel and see how many impromptu weddings you can muster. 😂

It’s such a funny thing to do too, even tho’ I’m used to talking to camera’ 😂 maybe I will dig out some Glastonbury pics……. My history!! Tbh, I have had a great time with still more adventures to come…… but there are a few things I want to talk about in the future in my Vlogs in the hope that what I say about my experience will help others…….but don’t want to get too deep! 😂 I’m supposed to bre making people smile!!! 😂😂 Hope you’re well and hope you’re having a good day 🌸
