They should return the type 5 to the original damage range, with the new HE you would need to hit weak points.

I really hope this new japonese heavy line comes with buffs for the old one, they really need it

@@TheHouse_AlwaysWins No. Just understanding that he will never be competitive because he is incompatible with the meta, even if he receives a buff, doesn't change the fact that a meta tank can swallow him. And you can't leave it impenetrable because it would be unrealistic.

Type 71 can get out of any sticky sitouation thx to its balanced frontal armor and mobility. upperplate is 180mm effective and 35 top speed lmao.

The upper plate is at 55° slope, which gives an effective armor of 210. An extra 5° slope turns the 120mm into 240mm, and the tank's gun depression is a lot more than 5°. The tank is entirely made to play on sloped terrains or just hull down, rather than on an open field. And this is better than its stupid version of Blitz with a base hull armor of 178mm (over 300mm of effective armor) which won't be penetrated by anything that isn't a premium round

@@EliiGamer685 on tanks gg you can see that is not 210mm bc its 47 degree sloped when on even terrain, after using its 12 degree gun dep it becomes 210mm which is still no auto bounce if you show it, and there are enough maps where you just cant use your gun dep. so your front plate becomes useless

You wanna do some needed re-balancing? Fix Type 5 hvy to not suck. It's armor is worthless. And do something about the BZ-176. It awful to deal with. Reduce the turrent armor, or make it inaccurate as a KV2.

@@Yamahoyami the issue with the tank is that the armor works in a way, where it either bounces everything that has sub 190 pen and everything pens with everywhere with 200+ pen, it's either armor without weakspots for low tier tanks or an autoaim cheese tank for high tier tanks that is my main issue, and the fact that the armor already barely works when it faces tier 7 tanks, let alone tier 8 and 9, and the gun is derpy as hell, with useless premium ammo

Also, they might be run by the same company, but PC's developers are a different team than Blitz's developers (it happens for every company), the tanks alone already have different stats in each game (Type 71 in Blitz has a frontal hull of 178mm, in PC it has 120mm) and there are switches on the line like they did in the Yoh line and Japanese TDs (Type 57 in Blitz is a premium tank, in the tech tree at tier 8 is the Chi-Se)

The gun is well in the branches. but only the premium ammunition (AP) from tier 5 to tier 10 needs an improvement in its frontal armor, plus a revalance of the ammunition (HE) since they are artillery cannons that have to be used in a balanced way and give it that touch that heavy branch.

The cupola is a pretty present weakspot, and anything of the tank below the hull's upper plate is made out of paper. Type 57 is already on WoT Blitz as a premium tank, along the whole Japanese heavy tank line. Tier 8 tech tree instead is a tank called "Chi-Se" which is the result of what would happen if you gave the characteristics of an E-75 to a Chi-Ri

@@lonemarkkingoftypos3722 on the other hand it has awful gun dispersion if it is not using the cooling mechanic, and awful dpm if it is using said mechanic. Blitz version doesn't have -12 gun depression (it has -9), but its gun just feels better overall

type 71 is good but if you want the superior version play blitz because in blitz the type 71 is an absolute monster, 250mm upper plate, 340mm ap premium pen, 420 alpha, and choice between 9deg gun depression or insane mobolity.
