ISLA SORNA IS HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! If expanded island mods come to JWE2, I hope they expand to cover almost the whole Sorna map (imagine the dinosaur-sanctuary-builds you could create)!

There is an expanded island mod, but it just makes a huge square not the whole island

It does surprise me that we don't have an option to build aviaries in the JP era, hopefully it's on it's way when they fix the JP3 Pteranodon skin but it's still odd that it wasn't there since launch, especially since we had it in the last game.

Frontier did answer a fan's question about that and confirmed that the JP3 Pteranodons are indeed going to be added to the game.

Is weird how large some of this maps, specially considering the amount of areas one would never see through a normal gameplay

When you first started flying over San Diego and the harbor, those really simple buildings were giving me big JP vibes when Lex was accessing the 90’s era Unix system.

One thing I would of loved to see in the Nublar 1993 map is an abandoned visitor centre and/or the Trex paddock

I’ve found the parachute It’s by the brachiosaurus area in the isla sorna Chaos Theory

How ironic Jurassic park San Diego was build in Coronado island. The bridge is suppose to be Coronado bridge and to be fair they mixed mission valley with San Diego city. I am a local here and it really is cool to see this map.

@@SudsyMedusa53 technically yes since it’s the biggest and rounded area from a map perspective. And how Jurassic park San Diego in evolution 2 is, it’s in that ground. However if frontier were to make the city more viewable like 180• view of the city I would be more closely resembling Coronado. But still It is still cool to see.

"We're going exploring" Hearing this made me so happy and excited! Some of these are actually pretty cool!

Makes you wonder if Frontier had planned to add a JP3 style aviary in the game, but decided to leave it out for whatever reason before the release.

A year later it's here lol

I find the San Diego city odd, not because of the low poly - that's honestly fine, but because it doesn't look anything like San Diego. Like the only major bridge over the San Diego Bay is Coronado Bridge, but the map's bridge is clearly not Coronado, unless in the JWE universe the bridge lacks the usual "Boomerang" curve Coronado has. Assuming it is Coronado Bridge and the main visible part of the city is the city center (where the majority of San Diego's Skyscrapers are) then Jurassic Park is on Coronado, specifically where the Coronado Air Base should be. Either way the city sprawl either on Coronado or the eastern side of the Bay are just absent. I still love the detail of having the city, it's just fun to note the odd aspects of the map.

@@diegoanimals5809 The Naval Air Base was present on North Island (Coronado) since 1917 and the bridge was constructed in the 50's, much of the sprawl was already present. Eh, its not important really, beside Jurassic Park has already had an odd history of messing with San Diego's geography, such as when the now crewless boat transporting the Buck Rex somehow entered San Diego Bay and hit the docks in the south of the bay despite that requiring the crewless ship to make a full right turn, lol.

Nice video, Now I really want a mod that can make us be able to build on the outskirts like on san diego. Or build near the jurassic park 3 avairy.

It’s most likely a sculpt set so they can essentially paint the buildings onto the landscape.

In the first game all the back on isla pena you could see a łow poly Dock that suggets that there was in gen before. I am so sad no one noticed this. 😄

I did... a very long time ago

So I went into nublar 2015 and went behind the mountains that are supposed to be in front of the innovation center and surprisingly there’s a lot of background space, almost like some parts of the island where gonna be used but got later scrapped

Ah san deigo has never looked better

I saw the parachute hanging from a tree where you get the brachiosaurus in the chaos theory. I was trying to search for the left overs of the airplane but nothing for the moment.

I purposely ignore the updates of JE2 so I can play it without spoils and now I can binge watch everything now 🤣

Did this on Isla nublar, that map is HUGE! Why are they restricting us from using all that space?! insane!

You can also fly around in capture mode without the helicopter if you go into an underwater viewing gallery and press C

Interesting to se these places up close the JP3 map is my favorite because of all the Easter eggs

@BestInSlot when exploring the JP3 Sorna map, you found the airstrip and Aviary, but does it have the Research Facility or the Boat Dock???

Theres not 3 easter eggs in isla sorna. Theres 4. If you go to the small area where you find the brachiosauras in the chaos theory mode you can find the orange snd white parachute in the trees. If you cant find it then just move along the boarder of the map intill you see it. Only works in sandbox mode

You can do this in the first game with the first person mod found on nexusmod. While in capture mode press z to bypas collisions and invisible walls. I wonder if it works too on jwe2

I don't get it... Why can't frontier just make super massive maps that extend all the way to the san deigo city. Imagine how big that map will be it would be awsome. We could fly there via glitch but we can't build there! :(

They set up so much potential for sandbox mode, then jus didn’t follow through with it. Like why even put these structures here if you can’t see them in the base game without using this trick?

If only you could build on the entirety of the island like in Jurassic park operation genesis

This makes me sad knowing the games have so much potential to actually have access to a full island, imagine being able to build the entire jurassic park with a realistic distance between everything.

You know , you can do this out of bound thing in JWE as well with the first person mod . Just press z while in capture mode to bypass collisions and invisible walls and you can go really far. Try it. And you can zoom out far too. I wonder if that works on jwe2 1rst person mod too or just in jwe
