I read that women should take precautions when being around male orangutans. No one likes to mention it. But women need to know this info. prior to going into areas with orangutans. Wear mens clothes, hats, long sleeves, and keep your voice low like a man.

That was a female orangutan, and these animals are drawn more to scent than looks or voices.
