The more we learn about primates, the more we realize how much we have in common, from complex social structures to tool usage. It's a testament to the wonders of evolution and the beauty of the natural world

I’ve got nothing in common with them monkeys, the natural world was the same as the human world, depending upon where you lived with wars and conflicts to natural disaster’s going on, don’t forget that in modern human society, was our natural or unattractive world.

Second to NONE. BBC produce the very best of this type of programme. The photographic content, subject matter, editing, sound cannot be improved upon. A joy to watch. Thank you BBC.

@@bussyhaver The BBC are the very best service provider without doubt. I'm sure German documentaries are also wonderful too but The BBC set the standard others have always aspired to. For me it is the telling of he the behaviours into curious and funny stories that I just love. This also teaches us all about what is going on without all the deep scientific understanding needed to establish these comical and sometimes treacherous stories.

The way he carries around that spy tortoise by the neck 🤣🤣🤣 glad it's not an actual tortoise
I wouldn’t care if the topic was soup sandwiches, I just love to hear the one and only Sir David Attenborough tell documentary stories. He’s the bomb in a nutshell ❤😂 I love him and wish I could meet him one day. With him being a seasoned 97 this year, I wonder if he still does documentaries.

Silverbacks and Orangutans will always be my favorite.
Around 26:30 i was honestly so proud of the infant female monkey when she chattered her little teefs to show respect to the male.

I think these particular monkeys, with their class hierarchy, and strick acknowledgement of the male leader, by those poor tiny babies are so unappealing. Just appalling how they are slapped around by the adults, if they don't chatter their teeth.

Those chimps are absolutely vicious. I'm ashamed to have them as cousins,, but I can see why they are. I'll stick with the female gorillas and orangutans.
@Fur_Crumbs_Channel

@@poppyflower7873 It is ofc their nature and how they establish things. I legit see no better way for them to change how they operate. They already have a small stature and a less aggressive figure amongst most other primates so they have to set some form of ruling in their little groups. Then again you must know how chaotic, loud, and uncontrolled baby macaques can be so inflicting pain, which is that slap honestly might be a good reset and pattern recognition for them.

I ❤ U BBC
I absolutely love the silver back Gorillas , they are so beautiful, big, strong and have the cutest chubby babies. I love all primates, monkeys and only want for them all to be able to live in there natural habitats and to be protected from poachers, and land development, to be protected from us humans in general. We have destroyed and killed far to many animals and are the biggest factor to them being endangered some have already disappeared for good, we must learn from our mistakes. God put every living thing on this earth including us its our job to simply keep the balance and we can do that by leaving these amazing animals alone.
Pleased that I’m a human in this human generated society
Such a tremendous documentary 👏
wildlife is my favorite. As have many pics of ringtail possums on my Iphone. And also own 2 Nikon camera's. One with a 82x zoom on it & the other has a telescopic lens on it.
Ring tailed lemurs!! so cuteee ❤
When the 37 yr old female silverback rolled her eyes at the male trying to show off...i relate w her so much.

Man that snub-nosed monkey did make a mistake, but it suddenly hit me that humans make another mistake in that situation. Young kids, even adults always MOVE when they are lost, which generally gets you more lost than you were before(because now beside you not knowing where are you, other people that had an indication/idea of where you were have now lost you too. Thats why there's this general idea when you get lost; do. not. move. Stay put, attract attention, make sounds a lot of the time, kill trees to create a hole in canopy, but please stay put.
love monkey

As human primates we run heart checks on other people, from prisons to the army you gotta show heart to ride, same with chimpanzees and gorillas. It's not that we're savages, it's simply our instinct.
