With cultural critic Anastasiia Platonova, journalist and editor Daria Badior has worked on a series of publications titled “Unwinding Empire.” Ukrainian and foreign public intellectuals were welcome to write about the cultural and historical context of Russia’s war against Ukraine and the neocolonial critique of Russian culture. Moreover, Daria is writing a book on the post-Maidan generation of cultural managers who significantly changed the Ukrainian cultural milieu.
In this video, Daria Badior talks about connecting with the Western readership, working as a culture freelance journalist in Ukraine, and having inner and outer conversations on writing about Ukrainian culture.
