Unveiling Ireland's Hidden Gems: Driving the Beara Peninsula

Driving and exploring the Beara Penisula is an experience we think everyone should put on their Ireland road trip itinerary.

On our one-day drive, we visited Uragh stone circle, Caus Sea Caves, Mass Rock, Forest walks, Waterfalls and loads of amazing viewing points. We dropped by Glengarriff and Allihies for food and a couple of breaks. This may have been a full day, but it was not at all a rushed day, and we think it's a very worthwhile day.
One of Ireland's Hidden Gems, the Beara Penisula is spectacular at every turn, and the scenery is diverse. Beara Penisula is an explorer's dream. The drive around the Penisula is awe-inspiring and intense all at once. If you like driving in amazing places, then Berara is for you. If you like a good fun drive, then this not-too-busy peninsula is for you.
Beara Penisula is home to stunning scenery, history dating back 1500 years to today and beautiful little hamlets worth your time.
Question:
Have you ever driven the Beara Penisula?
What is one place on the Penisula you consider a must-visit?

Terrific video! My g-great grandpa was born at Kilcatherines Church at 10:21 back "in the day"; so look forward to seeing these spots when I can. Maybe the best Beara video I have seen--you know how to capture the essence very well.

I absolutely love all of your videos! You do a fantastic job of capturing all of the highlights. One very teeny tiny correction though, it is pronounced “bear-a” 😊 not Bree-a”. Always look forward to all of your videos, especially the ones in Ireland. Thank you so much for making them🤗☘️!
