Thanks so much for the comment Ivan! We have a Santa Maria endler cross Blue Star Endler to show in a week or so, just waiting for a few more fry to finish colouring up (they look like blue stars but with more red belly so far)

This cross still looks like it's worthwhile to me. I really like the male that you decided to continue with.

That male you picked out looks excellent.. may take you a couple more generations to get that desired effect... I tried something very similar but crossing just endlers .. came up with a very nice strain... Was hard to maintain consistency though .. As always great job Great video

Appreciate your thoughts as always bud! Its given me a lot of appreciation of all the hard work other people have done over the year to develop the strains we are lucky to have in the hobby that's for sure!

Nice choice. I started a mutt Endler tank out of 3 types out of curiosity. I’m won’t be line breeding them but I’m excited to see what develops over the next 2-3 years. I have a different tank of pure stock to continue.

I absolutely love endlers. I was trying to get hold of japan blue and santa maria but my local shops don't have them on any lists surprisingly

Thanks for the comment bud, I've never seen Japan blues in the shops tbh but it seems to be the case for a lot of strains of Endlers/Guppies and shrimp colours TBH. Very odd but makes me think most of these strains are maybe maintained by private hobbiest rather than commercially bred?!

@@Aquadiction I was thinking along the same lines. My local shops only seem to want to stock "Mixed" strains. How are we supposed t deal with our collectoritise with mixed strains

Those are beautiful! I have been attempting crossing some guppy/ Endlers myself but don’t look anywhere near as good as these😁👍

Thanks bud! Its very hit and miss, out of all the crosses we have tried so far these are the only ones that got close to something we liked! If only it was like mixing paint eh! Its given me a lot of appreciation of all the hard work other people have done over the year to develop the strains we are lucky to have in the hobby that's for sure!

Will you be selling any endler this year? I bought staeck endler from you previously.

Yeah sure, what were you looking for? We have made massive changes to the fish room so may or may not have the strains we had last year!
