Aston Martin has announced a new twin-turbocharged V-12 engine for the next Vanquish, boasting 824 horsepower and 1000Nm of torque. This engine will be featured in their most exclusive models, including the upcoming flagship model. The announcement suggests a revival of the classic front-engine, rear-wheel drive grand tourer formula for Aston Martin. Meanwhile, the TWR Supercat, a restomod of the Jaguar XJS powered by a V-12 engine, has been unveiled. TWR, known for its motorsport history, plans to produce 88 Supercats, each priced around $280,000, with extensive customization options. The Supercat will debut dynamically this summer and is described as the "first of a new generation of cars" from TWR.

Correction, a plaid will only do a straight line, not a circle! 🤣at the first turn, every other fast-ish cars will actually run circles around that poor plaid

@@johnwilliam8798 not quite look it up.. plaids hold lap records at most tracks.. .or in the top 10. track mode is phenomenal for heat management..
