Aramau the Fiery Secretary I never watched Untucked originally, but I also never liked Derrick on Season 8 because she was too uptight and took herself too seriously. However, I have come to actually respect her quite a lot since, because she shows a clear willingness to grow and learn from her mistakes, and she is no longer afraid to make fun of herself, such as in Willam's video for "Derrick". In going back and rewatching season 8, she did actually have several moments where she showed real maturity that I didn't originally clock. This is the biggest one, but also the way her and Bob resolved their differences towards the end of the season, and how Derrick was willing to show humility and went straight to Naomi for makeup advice even after all the arguments they had about makeup.

I'm not gonna insult acid Betty's looks, because now I'm not better than her, but I will judge the fact that her pointing out trixie's makeup (which is fine???) Is not needed and just stupid, Kim and having an emotional moment and she just jumped in with no invitation, it is straight up disrespectful.

Derrick: "I know, but it's not for you to get." Acid Betty: "oh 👁👄👁"

You have to commend Derrick. Even though everyone is pretty much annoyed by him, he ALWAYS takes up for himself, or stands up for what he believes in. Right or wrong. He was right this time. And Cynthia is a gift. Even when she is stressed out she takes the time to walk over and make someone feel good.

If you think about it Kim Chi's parents don't know about her drag and Trixie is her support system and you can tell they're so close it's just so heart warming❤️

Acid Betty being rude and ruining Kim Chi's moment made me hate her.

Every scene with Chi Chi is so sad yet so lovely to see. 1:22 genuinely made me start crying. A smile to remember forever.

yikes like i understand that some people don’t understand others’ aesthetics but when it’s a video of the person playing as emotional support to someone...like talking over an emotional video to comment on how “ugly” they are is pretty vile. And if she meant it as a joke, girl, read the room bc again that is not the time to say comments like that oh my god

I never really liked Acid Betty during this season, I get the whole persona of "I'm a shady b**ch look at me toast y'all all the time" but Kim Chi literally didn't deserve having her moment ruined for some petty laughing reaction that Betty didn't even receive. It was completely out of order, and then on top of that basically calling the queens who stood up to her 'sensitive' was so stupid.

It was the second time that got me... It seemed as though she was purposefully trying to insult Trixie and ruin the moment for Kim since the first time was brushed off so she insisted and repeated it.

Cynthia is the most positive little thing. i love her so much

everyone talking bout trixie vs betty but at 7:52 nayshas reaction had me in tears ahahah

what hurts is that Cynthia was sad because she had to leave them behind. She genuinely loved all of them, and they all loved her back.

So sad that Cynthia had to go. Robbie does absolutely nothing for me and is consistently underwhelming.

i LOVE!! how Derrick spoke up defending Trixie. as soon as the camera panned over to her face after Trixie's video you could tell she was not having none of that bs Betty was spewing. 15:17 playing NO games.

I’m so glad the 3 queens shut Acid Betty DOWN for her hate at Trixie’s painting. Like, hypocritical & nasty. Girl, bye.

+Nae G I think Acid just expects WELL DONE make-up. I mean, Acid can paint unusual things but it's with an actual technique. Even Trixie says her aesthetic built off of her inability to do make-up. Really I understand what Betty is saying though, I mean... why is bad make-up on purpose somehow... good? It's just a way to say " I'm lazy and cool because I don't care what people think. " but, Trixie is also kind and so it makes her endearing so no one can call her out on it without being a bitch? Plus, all Acid called her out on was her nose contour. Which is admittedly is Trixie's worst area. [ Trixie's eye make-up is some of my favorite though. ]

@@realbabyeatershe looked so cute, I live! I fully understood what she was going for, the silhouette was right and the materials were dazzling and so fun to look at. I think it would have been more successful if she was a bit more graceful on those skates, but skating is hard to do as it is. Not everyone can be like Denali.

As much as Derrick irritates me, I have to admit, this is one time I'm #TeamDerrick. I like Acid Betty, but her attitude here was so obnoxious.

Derrick calling out Acid Betty is I think the only time in the season I really like her. Love it.

Say what you will about Derrick, but her look this episode is my favorite of hers this whole season. Also, her moment standing up for Trixie was awesome, she shut Betty down but in a very respectable way.

As someone from the Southeast, the way ChiChi said “She done f***** up her own self.” gave me life. That was the most country thing I’ve ever heard and I’m here for it. She is as we would say in the SE “good people”.

Even if Derrick hadn't said anything, Thorgy was looking at Bob with a "We're gonna have to take sis behind the woodshed in a second here." The New York girls have no problem calling bullshit on their own kind.
