Today is Fathers' Day 2022-this was one of my dad's favorite songs--he often sang it as a solo-he was an old fashioned song leader. My brother sang it at my dad's funeral in 2014--dad was 94--he had served the Lord faithfully all his adult life--so did my mom-she went home on Memorial day that same year---both were active for the Lord until the very end. God took them home gently!!! They were married for 73 years!!! Dad always put in the soul of Christian man was like a waiting Falcon!!! That is the way my brother sang it!!!

This song has been special to me since I heard it sung at my grandfather's funeral back in 1967. When I was awakened by the call that my dad had passed away on the eve of Easter 2018, I sang it over and over for 30 min. til my heart and mind were at peace to sleep again. He had suffered for more than 10 years with dementia so his passing was an answer to prayer for my family. Picturing him singing praises to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit made Easter even more blessed!
