What about the 1993 De Tomaso Pantera Si? It was one of the last Panteras, and it has a much more modern look to it

There's one significant disadvantage turbine engines have that I don't think you mentioned (unless I missed it). They are all notoriously inefficient with respect to fuel consumption. And there's not a lot to do about that, because it's basically a result of how a turbine engine works. So, in any racing class where there are limits to the amount of fuel being used, a turbine engine wouldn't stand a chance against regular piston engines or even rotaries. This is also the main reason why turbine engines were never a success is road going cars or trucks, although it's been tried. I also somewhat disagree that there hasn't been a lot of development work gone into these engines, but you're right that it didn't happen within the racing scene. These engines are used in almost all helicopters today, because of the very good power to weight ratio. In a helicopter light weight is of course more important than fuel efficiency. These engines are extremely reliable, and almost never fails. (Most helicopter mechanical failure is gearbox failure.)

He's already mentioned that about gas turbines multiple times in his videos, but he still loves the Gas Turbine with a flaming passion as you've probably heard him mention the Y2K superbike on many occasions lol

What are the row of things along the bottom of the dash panel under the gauges from about 1:38 to 1:50? Maybe fuses or circuit breakers? If so, why so many? Thanks.

lol, I hate using watermarked images, but there are so few out there for this car because of it technically not existing anymore

@@HSGAutomotive Understandable, but since the PAS Pontiac IMSA Lights Prototype episode literally only has 3 photos in the entire episode and it was still solid, I'd take having so few passable pics to pass than a bunch of ugly photos in order to make the visuals more interesting. But that's just me.
