Love how he said “One of the best off-road trailers you can get”. These guys do such a quality job but are still aware there is very strong competition out there. Especially in Australia. Good on you guys. Keep striving to be the best even though I think you’re there. Love your stuff!

Had a bloke in the shop looking for a solar blanket to help with his battery array with his Patriot X1, what should have been a 5 minute sale turned out to be about 40 minutes while I drooled over every thing he showed me. Great bit of kit you guys.

I was about to ask where that accent is from, but then I read the comments section. I came looking for inspiration to build my own offroad trailer, and I stayed for the funny accent.

@patriotcampers Just a quick suggestion. It’d be awesome if you can add an option for your US customers to include the required cables. In the US, we don’t have a lot of Anderson products. It makes it a little challenging to hook up the fridge, and solar panels. I don’t think anyone would mind paying a little extra to have those cables shipped with the trailers. 👍

Wish you guys could engineer a tinny loader for the campers. Would love to go for one of these but the trackabout camper has such a good full time tourer layout! Its just so annoying that its a soft floor and arent quite the spec of x1/x2

@@chrisjones1864 well I’ve got a list lol. For one the jockey wheel isn’t long enough or sturdy enough IMO. I don’t like how hard it is to get to the batteries. I think the awning could be as well built as the rest of the trailer considering the price. Plastic knuckles and flimsy legs. Where the tent meets the side of the trailer is too tight and when you fold over the bed it crushes the zipper. I do understand how to pull the tent over so this doesn’t happen but thats way to tight to start and i think its unnecessary. The wabasto heater doesn’t cut it in the US. Im sure its fine in Australia. They say its supposed to take the chill off but i can tell you it wont in the US. I think its a mistake to say it will heat the tent cause it wont do anything under so 50 to 60 degrees F. Using other heat sources is a risk as there really isn’t a safe way to do it. I think leveling it should be easier as well as getting back to ride height. I also dont like the water fill. Way more difficult that it needs to be. Okay so you asked and dont get me wrong i love my X1 but you asked lol. The list for all the things i love is much longer.

Did I see a shore power connection on this one? Wasn’t that only on the X3 previously? Is shore power available for the US spec trailer and does it have any 110 outlets that run on shore power rather than the inverter?

Surprised to see that great bench space still compromised by the pantry drawer and stove when pulled out. Really annoying to move stuff on bench to pull out these things. Also when the stove is out access to the drawer above is compromised. It seems no matter what Is put in that drawer above stove you need it when you cook. Finally can we ask for the awning to be higher please, Tall people are so close to the awning that its easy to feel the heat and sometimes even the canvas itself. There’s a few improvements. Thanks

I believe @Ronny Dahl said something very similar on his X1n review a couple of years ago. Wondered why all the x1 kitchens weren’t remodelled to the same format as the x3

@@carliecumner2100 that for that I’ll look into Ronny’s vids to see his thoughts. The only difference I could see With X3 however was the elevated Pantry drawer which gets it off the bench height which is good but other aspects remain the same. Actually the X3 reminds me of the Ultimate Camper except with less lounge space and a smaller bed but with an outdoor kitchen.

To me camping set up time is important, just saying. I truly can’t see this bed out in the time said. A set up vid of this camper in real time would be great to see and a good selling point. All the “plenty” peg down points means a lot of time hammering or cordless driving pegs in. My real concern is the airbags being exposed as they are. What happens is one is punctured, if seen this happen even when they are in coils. I love the cooker swing system, now that’s a good idea to keep the fat splatter away from the kitchen.

I don't often think of "trap" edm music when I think of overlanding (your background music). But I suppose I also don't think of someone tucking their short sleeve shirt into skin tight denim jeans while overlanding either, so I guess my expectations are just off! I gather if you can afford $60K for a rooftop tent and a portable fridge on a trailer then you can do what you want!
