How to unstick the throat plate pins (and remove your throat plate!) on the Singer 400, 500, 600, 700 series machines. This video shows a 503J machine but it is identical on the 400 series machines and 500 series machines. 600 and 700 series machines will be similar if not identical but may require a little bit of imagination on how Singer redesigned the parts. The principles will still apply though.
