It's interesting how one common thing that these political leaders have in common is that their fathers were either absent or brutal when they were children. The lack of love from a father changes the child fundamentally and profoundly.

Brutal or absent fathers are not a complete explanation. The brothers and sisters of many psychopaths are usually normal. Many loving, normal parents are baffled by the one child who seems to be callous, cruel, dishonest, and troublesome while the other kids are normal. Signs of psychopathy are often present at a very early age, and remain consistent throughout life regardless of the personal or socioeconomic circumstances of the psychopath. Rates of psychopathy are consistent around the globe, regardless of culture, ethnicity, race or social circumstances. This points to a congenital personality trait rather than poor parenting. The severity of psychopathic behavior may be influenced by environment or family dynamics, but the basic personality disorder is already present.

How exactly does that work?! Whats the poind in sentencing someone to death and just leave them stting in prison til the die of natural causes??!! I also dont see the point in sentencing someone to life and then give them the possibility of parole! To me life should mean just that, LIFE!! Meaning youre in prison til the day you die!!

The doctor did not make a mistake. His description of a psychopath is right on. They are very cunning and charming and can pretend or mimic a normal human being with a conscience and a seemingly genuine introspection. But let them talk long enough ( as they do with a psychiatrist ) and you will see they talk in circles and contradict themselves often. The interviewer did not probe after the statement was made. If you where to ask him to elaborate on the reasons why he was unable to properly defend himself, it would always circle back ( originate ) to someone else or others as to the reason why he failed. So, they can recognize short comings within themselves but someone else is always to blame. This is what the Specialist is saying.
